kindly gave him and his mate access to the estate for two weeks for rabbits for there gos and harris hawks... free, no charge or f**k all... not even a thank you phone call did i get in return,. so bob if you read this im going out my way to ensure you never get hawking up this way again.. manners are free and get you a long way

in simple terms , no, rats feed mainly at night, birds do so in the day light hours.. its more likely down to the loss of naturall food due to the time of year and a little down to the stress of the shooting season being in full swing..

not being rude but its your shooting rather than the size of shot, remember walked up shooting your shooting them up the arse, there is alot more none fatal areas to hit compared to when shooting driven

she will be about 7 now, had a litter off her to another hunt dog2 years ago, pups are just starting there 1st proper seaon, , but after today she may just have another next year...

to cut a long story short i went out to check the earths on the estate as we have had snow for 2 days solid, our 2nd hole looked great, dog flew to groung and out popped mrs fox, bowled over with the shotty, a quick rag and photo, then ran her through the earth again, and bang she was on again, dug this one a lump of a dog fox, weighing in at 22.5 lb, terrier took to much stick this time, she has done me proud over the years, but sadly that will be the last one she will see, pickin her up at 6 from the vets, and back in on tuesday to see if they can stitch any thing or not, either way, thanks

If you get a return rate of 40% your doing well on pheasant very well on pats. Andy he aint shootin he is flying hawks, you wont get any where near a 40 percent return, it dont sond the best ground top release on, id just fly what was there, too many about aint going to help the bird....
