  2. i would imagine there's a few about
  3. i understand what ur saying . But 2 half bred 23 inch bull greyhounds will throw big leggy stuff bearing in mind the pit side was nt much bigger than a good sized patt . So it would nt be to much of a problem to keep them up on the leg with the right dogs selected
  4. drive determination coat fearlessness trainabilityIs that not already available then fella? Beddy crosses? Wheaten crosses? Collie/bull types? Plenty of coat, drive and determination there. Trainability is a bullshit word made up by fools on the internet. All dogs are trainable. If you mean willingness to learn then I wouldn't have Patterdale at the top of the list. But that's just me. im no fool on the internet fella. Show me a beddy or collie with as much drive as a pat. all my terriers are trainable sorry biddable to a fault and are used regularly and are well tested. I think a certa

  6. I ve always loved the look of the bed/grey cross but the two I did have were very independent and terrible sulky if scolded. We parted company. Now I'm older and have more patience I might try again perhaps.
  7. We had a few beagles about us and used to push woods and such like through for farmers controlling foxes. We did this most Sunday's on a regular basis. We had different lads from all over come and bring lurchers. Daytime foxes were a completely different ball game to lamped foxes as a lot of the lads discovered. I myself kept bull crosses and ran a 5/8 x 3/8 who had killed a lot of foxes over the 9 years I ran him. I watched a lot of collie blooded lurchers run and would nt have had one in my kennels. Over the years of watching foxes being run in daytime . The most versatile daytime all round
  8. we found this with the bull greyhound first cross. One litter to a good game bull produced a storming litter. Very steady temperaments , laid back but very good at their job. The same dog to a different greyhound bitch a few years later produced a litter of sheep killers with not one sensible dog amongst them. two litters from the same matings can be very different.same sire different dams

  11. One more. Nothing to do with dogs tho unfortunately. My brother recently went on a stag do abroad. He said they all put 20 euro each in the kitty and played hide the jobbie.Dirty fxxxxxxs all shit somewhere in the rooms they were staying in. Last one to be found got the kitty.Everyone s got discovered over the next couple of days except one lad. Every morning he only had cereal and eventually he confessed. The dirty get had scooped the butter out , shit in the tub then put the butter back over it. Freaks
  12. My biggest pet hate is when u nip off off into the bushes to take a shit. Then realise when it rains , you ve curled one out in your hood. Ruins the day lol
  13. better still line her with a 3/4 greyhound x 1/4 bull.
  14. Best memorable dig was we had finished for the day and doing the normal one last one on the way home routine. I ve never dug it any deeper than 6 foot my mate said . The final mark was 4.9m and one lad surprisingly had to go. Why it was memorable was after we eventually broke through in the pitch black I fell backwards into the dig with my head in the stop end. I ain't good in tight places and my mate could nt pull me by my feet cos the twxx was on his knees laughing. And the dog was old nuttall stuff sent from Ireland .
  15. Yamaha has some golly bred pups on here
  16. If you know the line well and have personally dug the dogs and trust that line. Do what I do. Let my 10 year old pick a pup.
  17. You just liked the double tone, you know it's under the six foot mark then lolnothing wrong with that double beep ,especially when you re trying the last spot on the way home .
