  9. you would have to find something, iv fed 6 week old ish rabbits and you get a skin, top of a skull etc, if you cant find anything then id be suspicous.

  12. after a discussion with a friend, what is the preffered age to enter a kit? and what criteria do you use to select a kit, as obviously working ability cannot be determined at 6-8 weeks. what are your preffered methods?
  13. people often say this, but in the wild they only meet to mate? not having a go or disagreeing, i agree just I didn't know ferrets lived in the wild? Never seen many running round my area Lewis i was reffering to the wild polecat, a ferret is just a domestic polecat. and most polecats are thought to be infused with domestic ferret bloody anyway. and you may not of seen them, but they will be there.

  15. why ruin it for the rest of us young hunters? i wouldnt sell my pup for a grand, she may turn out shite but id still love her, it would be like selling my child! and i know oner other young member on here that would day that! DICK.
  16. he did mention the fact he deliberatly set a rabbit snare for foxs well thats even worst then surely?

BUT he was after rabbits... so if anti's see it it could be used as evidence to try and ban all forms of snaring, inc. rabbits, as they are also catching non target species. no one is saying that post about snaring foxes are bad just when they are caught in rabbit snares it shouldnt be shared on an open forum, as it is not just hunting minded people that look on here.
  18. why did you get 2? are they from seperate litters? they look good, my 1st cross looks a lot like the fawn, white feet and everything
  19. just explain to the farmer, im sure he will understand, if no one around you hunts you will have little competition for the permission. or ask someone else with a ferret along to help you out while you get another ferret brought in.
  20. how do you know how long that will be at a couple of days old though?
  21. mind that tuna tin isnt too sharp around the inside of the rim?
