  10. .....sorry but no...pipe training before you let them go....utter nonsense. They can go at 8 weeks ! Think you have too much time on your hands hes not training them... it sounds in a way that he is seeing if they will be good workers in the future, and not passing on shit ferret kits which sounds decent of him.

  12. Brazilian asil x Asil Stag for sale. 12 months old. naturally hatched and reared. 7 pounds in weight, would expect around 8.5 when matured and filled out. very strong and game bird, very fast bird. no jacker. located near skipton, north yorkshire, no home pickup. can meet locally, maybe bit further is the price paid for the bird is right. any questions etc feel free to PM. EXTREMELY reluctant sale due to needing room, and concentrating on americans and reza asils. still extremely good bird. £70 or offers. cheers. cheers.

  14. permission owner counted 40 on a bit of land probably the third the size of a football pitch, all under his chicken shed and in walls
  15. so not really training just sorting the wheat from the chaff? what age do you make a decision? i have an accidental litter i will be keeping 2 back from, what age is deadline day in terms of the right attitude and ability to work? the shit uns will not be passed on by the way.
  16. are the hen mules culled or do they have a use?
  17. no point trying to encourage working instinct, its either a good ferret or a shit ferret. i try to handle them and look them over at least once a day, harder in week as im more busy. i reckon its down to how much they are handled when young, the person that bred mine did all the hard work for me, they are as tame as kittens till it comes to rabbits
  18. would the tumour of presented a problem without a litter being bred from her, did that speed up the process or was it coincidental?
  19. what do you need them for regarding rabbits? if its legs i use ,my filleting knife and a rolling pin to get them off
  20. he only charged me £3.50 for 10 kilo of ox heart, get in
  21. what sort of problem is it. is it a split beak or a chipped beak? i have a cock and a stag here (father and son) who have a split beak that wont heal, but it doenst bother them in the slightest. if it is chipped it will grow out and be worn down like a toenail. if it is continuosly bleeding i would wait to see if it clots and heals, but if it doesnt and is painful to the bird i would cull it.
