    doubt if it would jump rather than could, but if pressured i would say so. if the stream ever runs dry i would say this is how they get across, but i did bolt a rabbit from a hole bout 1 and a half inches in water at entrance but got drier as it went in..

    whats accidently imprinting and a screamer out of interest? what makes it scream about the imprinting? does it imprint you as the parent?

    mine looks twice as small it shedded that much hair, ive seen ferrets with short hair like a staffy in the summer.

    i have a first cross beddy whippet. when in a field with rabbit/game in she works running up and down nonstop, sometimes she smells the scent of the rabbit before she sees him and doesnt look around so misses the rabbit. but she is a great dog and is like your lurcher, very freindly and nice in the house but when games afoot she is a different dog. my mum always comments that she couldnt imagine her wanting to kill things lol. she has just started getting deeper into cover, nettles etc. i probably should get another dog as when she is in the cover flushing them out and they bolt and are in cov

    i have heard you can get insurance for being on other peoples property from BASC or somewhere similar pretty cheap. just wondered if anyone knows anything about it? when i ask for permo i want to just be able to say i have got it just to sweeten the deal, as most of last season i got taken out by my friends on their permission, and i just want to make sure i have some decent permo to return the favour, even if they are a pair of dickheads anyone got any info?

    I started mine as soon as she had all her jabs, dont know if its right or not? just wanted to make sure she was, as an un stock broken dog is useless when all ferreting is done on farms.
