    hi all i am a beginner at all this hunting lark so no pis takers or slaggers please [bANNED TEXT] i read cmw classified or any lurcher adverts many of them say 100% on fur n feather even a litter of 1st cross bedlington whippets sp obvs a beddy and a whippet were.... i know wat the fur is rabbit fox sometimes hare and rarely deer but wat is the feather cos am i been stupid or wont the birds just fly off as i sed i am a begginer atb joel

    hi all just been out with my grandmas castrated patterdale x border dog jake. he is bred pet to worker and he himself iis a pet hence the castration. i rode my bike up to a rubbish dump that is covered in rats and is bordering on a scrrubby feild with a few rabbits on it. i normally just go up tthere to mess about on my bike but i took the dog with me. i knew here was rats here as i saw about 20 running around in the broad daylight once when someone had poisened them and as soon as i got there jake started marking piles of wood for rats but i wwas too sow moving it away so i think they crawled

    no these dogs are not mine i just put it up here to see if my thoughts of thyem being a crap hunting dog wwere similar to anyone elses .

    thanks for all yur replies, i thought they wud be crap as well, i mean charging 500 quid, but the thing is that some feckin idiot will buy one and wonder wy it is not catching rabbits : i mean if it was a staffy x saluki or doberman x saluki they might have half a chance. thanku for takin the time to reply atb joel

    i dont know if anybody else saw the advert in the recent countrymans weekly for saluki x rottweiler my first thoughts were that this was a accidental cross but then it said that they make a "great hunting dog" my thoughts were in my limitted knowledge of lurchers, i would have thought that they would have been too heavily built to get rabbits but maybe charlie?? your opinions on this cross please atb joel p.s he is askin 500 quid
