  3. i dont. i did that once and he wasnt going to let me dog or not, they had a gamekeeper doing it. i took her when she was a small pup and they all loved her and cared more about her than what i was asking. it is sort of an interview really, if your a dickhead from what your like they arnt going to let you on. i dont tek dog with me anymore.
  4. what were the vet bits from? what did they injure?
  5. some people just make stuff up on here He's not a million miles from the truth, in that if you tried to have a dog for both bushing and running whats bushed out, if its in 'proper' cover, its never going to see what comes out, and if its standing about with a view of what bolts, to run it, then its not really bushing proper. If that makes sense? i took it as in looks and build wise they either throw to the whippet or beddy. may of misinterpreted what he said. but iagrre with what you say, my pup is so involved in what she is looking for she misses the bolt.
  6. paulus is getting a bit excited here....
  7. our pet terrier is the same, doesnt even like you touching his nails, weird.
  8. I got him for breeding, not for working i have 3jills that do all the work for me and my birds, plus a mate has his ferrets to work? altogether we have 10 working jills through out the winter and one very good hob, thats the one who is the father of my litter of kits..... you wouldnt breed off an unproven dog or hawk so why ferret? Now everyone has just assumed that im working him and the jills he might go over? There is so called show ferrets out there (polecats) all types of colours!! and i think he would throw off some excellent looking kits, hes a good looking hob and a nice col

  13. i have heard of a full greyhound dog being put over an 18 ince beddy whippet, so i guess a whippet over a terrier would be ok?
  14. if you make them give it a hinged roof as access, the front door ones get on my tits and the ferrets and sawdust are always jumping and falling out
  15. saw on another post people want an imprint for breeding? why is this? why is it better to breed with an imprint?
  16. i got 75 acres of maize and 150 acres of pasture from standing beside a farmer we sort of know as we saw the olympic torch come past
  17. still trying to figure out how that works. do you let go og the peg, the neck loosens and the peg hits the ring, but its still round the dogs neck isnt it?
  18. I have a small river a little wider than a metre, and the rabbits are always making their escape across it whenever they can, by jumping over. learn something new everyday. is that just when you approach them or if they bolt?
