Oh and incase any visitors want to bring their ferrets they have this shit house to use ..... theres nothing special about that, no sawdust on the floor, wont be long your ferrets will get bumblefoot or whatever its called. also in the visitor hutches, why is the mesh here there and everywhere?? and the hutches arent level just thought id tell you again your a big a prick as you think socks is. do ferrets have sawdust in the wild on frost covered feilds? no. the pipes arnt level on purpos

  8. i left one under a bush for about 9 month and its well on its way to being cleaned
  9. would you say the dutchy ones with a blaze down the face and a white saddle are mutations? i have seen some damn near looking full dutch and only isolated to 1 area of that farm. like the ones theferreter posted is that the 10% would you say?
  10. do these descendants from domestics vary from "proper wild rabbits" ie slower on the run? The ones I've ran seem to run just as fast as "normal" rabbits, but perhaps they are the ones that get their speed from the "wild" side of the breeding, and the ones that throw to the "domestic" side, speed wise, don't make it to maturity due to predators ? Cheers. im always suprised the domestic's survive long enough to be able to breed and worm their ways into an established group with the competition from the ruling wild buck surely he would warn them away? are they not territorial?
  11. any pics? is it a first cross?

  15. they are called lionhead, they are a breed u sedto try and breed was it very slow? will be someones pet for sure
  16. all rabbits will be highly inbred and related, the romans will not of brought a lot over and there are millions here not so they will all be very inbred. and some isolated populations will never get new blood in them.
  17. i would agree there possibly may be carlisle in him but would definelty disagree with shamo or oriental blood. his comb is like that due to dubbing. iv seen and dubbed pea combs ad they are not that long or narrow. the red in his legs is a sign of verility and all birds have them not heard of it being unique to shamo if it was anything oriental it would be asil as he is not leggy or stretched like a shamo, but id bet money on no oriental in him.
  18. f**k me, small jills dont live long, neither do big ones? how do you know whats big and small? so "medium" sized ferrets live longer? even i know that sounds like bullshit
  19. previous owner has taken them off, right off. he looks stocky on the cord as was flapping around and didnt like the cord, he doesnt look that carlisle in real life, but fair criticism and comments lads.
