the tropical fish thread has inspired me to aquire a male betta. after research i like the half moon variety most, how much will this cost? will i need a water heater? what temp does the water need to be? what do i feed them?
i have looked online but there is so many different opinions and info, so i want some info off someone who has been there and done it.
that clear pvc you can get at builders merchants.... it was near the wood.... how much will it be roughly? will it magnify and make it hot like a greenhouse if sunlight shines through it? how easy is it to drill or does it shatter? i want to put some on my chicken pen doors on the wire to stop rain... cheers
a square of plywood tie wrapped together in the shed, saw dust for bedding, a heat lamp at the preferred height above, not too high and not too low, a tray of chick crumbs and a narrow lipped drinker.
that slideshow set of pics are some of the best pics i have ever seen. i love the id course one with the blue dog being turned by the rabbit. excellent pics and sounds a great day.
love that terrier and beddy whippet, is it a half x or a 3/4?
them pictures are top quality, excellent, looked a top day, i normally just skip to the pics but your pics made me read it
my ferrets sometimes nip at my dog when they come out the burrow all fired up, the dog just avoids them and walks away. she has been around them since 7 weeks, i made sure she saw them and was around them on the floor every day as a ferreting dog who cant be trusted around ferrets is worst than useless
Bleeping all day???? just have it on when the ferret kills. And even then if it does ya nut in...use the pin point dial to turn the noise down.
obvs not all day you donut...but we had about 8 digs yesteday and thats a lot of knocking. my point is why switch or why did deben attempt to improve it when the mk1 does it so well anyway?
mk1 is so much better.
why re invent the wheel when the mk1 does it so well?
couldnt listen to that shite beeping all day either, the knock of the mk1 is so much better.
had about 4 killed stone dead underground by the time we dug down, not had any like that for ages. might be due to them being unfit due to the weather and putting up less of a struggle. being killed by medium jills as well, not just big hobs.
TOMO jr the hob was out today, had 3 good bolts where he was down for about 3 mins persuading the rabbits to bolt rather than scaring them immediately into the net. would of had a dig with him too but the collar battery was dead so chucked a collared jill in with him to dig for. still cant get over his size. a third the size of some of the rabbs.
he wentout last weekend was put in a few burrows, but went with a couple of mates and one of them wasnt in a patient mood, so he want favoured. he did stick down both occupied warrens he went down, but didnt bolt.
come back home today after a night out..... turns out my Father, on his Night out, has got me rabbiting permission for a whole estate.... along with the use of the Gator ATV 4x4 to get around on!!!
Result!
oh and a job at the same farm too!
dont get an overlap shed, if you get mites in there you literally will never get rid of them. had 2 burn 2 of mine. get a tongue and groove if you get a shed
