    where do you buy your legbars from?! and that is absolute bollox about them eating less and laying more....... theres some on bird trader for £20 if you go to a dealer it wiil be more. hybreeds like warren, amber link lay an egg every day for a year in the right conditions. others breeds like rhode island red lay around 240 or a maran lays around 200 in the same amount of time. if you pick up a warren it's just skin and bone were as a sussex are quite chunky( a daul purpose bird). little of your feed goes into meat only eggs. those birds are purpose bred by an industry

    i definetly think he knew they had killed sheep, either seen them or found out after. i had a patterdale in with my chickens once, worth a lot id of given it a kicking if i had the chance.

    even if them dogs only killed 1 ewe each, bearing in mind they would be heavily in lamb, thats over £700 worth of damage. would that woman paid that when she turned up? no shed of got her dogs and gone. this story is in y local paper, so not all bullshit daily mail. i think the chap has gone to his fields, found a few dead ewes, come home fuming, been handed the dogs and exacted his revenge. i know someone that shot a saluki that killed over 20 ewes, that is a hell of a lot of money that farmers dont have. so its not all laughs and jokes and a "few sheep"

    i reckon if you breed a litter you need assurance you have homes for them or be prepared to deal with surplus however that may be............. i would rather put a dog down that put it in a rescue centre, thats no life for a dog.

    sure you bred that other litter a lot more recently that 2 and a half years ago bracken was under a year old when you showed above dog as a pup cos i remember someone pulling you up about it?
