  5. you say the hutch is excellent, but trust me after 12 months it wont be. the shit and piss corrodes them constantly and they are just shit tbh. i made one out of strong pallet planks and 2x4, its pretty heavy but its solid and it will last a lifetime, its the ply roof and floor on it that wont, and that 9mm! just noticed this. its got plastic bottoms mate so no rot plus dont go just by the pic. iwas surprised when it arrived. theres alot more safety bolts and so on than is advertised on the pic ill bet you a fiver that in a year and through a hard winter you will get rid. i
  6. i think just rabbits..... all their lives they will only mostly move a few yards from their burrow, and may only ever have been sent back down the warren by a fox..... yet will be too clever and quick for dogs if they are bolted from their warren, and know exactly where they are headed, and most of the time its the most difficult path for the dog.... amazing.

  14. wouldnt feed a lot of DOC as they are just skin and yolk. i have had them before as just a little treat or a filler, but try and stick to rabbit etc with meat on, more nutritional value
  15. http://www.marriagefeeds.co.uk/feeds/poultry determined.... and correct!
  16. layers mash is higher in protein than growers, and as the bird is still maturing
  17. maize is low in protein but high in fat . to feed a whole maize diet is too much for a young bird. i give it to adult birds sparingly over winter to put a bit of fat on to help with the cold weather. i dont think the problem with the bird is diet.could be a number of things but unfortunatly im not a vet. i have heard of birds going off their legs because protein content is too high, so thats why i would feed maize. if the birds in the state its in a bit of added fat is the last of its worries. atb
  18. why you want something that goes into cover when you have all those bushing dogs already? might miss more rabbits being in cover and not waiting for the bolt. just how i see it. atb
