That’s one of the reasons food is artificially cheap at the point of sale, we are paying for whole industries to deal with stuff that was previously utilised for absolutely free......it’s the scam of subsidised food ! Im not allowed to take the pluck or blood from my pigs at the slaughterhouse ! Go figure !

That’s the same with lots of things mate. If I was clearing equipment from firms some of them would want indemnity in case anyone I sold it to hurt themselves ! Quiet a few won’t even sell you their kit now, they just throw it away for the same reason. I watched a firm chuck 6 chairs worth about £2k each into a skip for that exact reason, I was waving a bunch of readies at the bloke but he just wasn’t interested.....not worth the risk ! Its the same with feeding waste to animals, you ain’t meant to feed chickens or pigs scraps of any kind !

I’d say the most dangerous un-truth spread is that to value yourself and preserve yourself means you have to hate someone. Most everyday people don’t want to hate anyone and so they don’t make choices that they should. Once folks understand you don’t have to hate anyone to value you and yours then they will start to act accordingly and feel more comfortable speaking out about and confronting this vile nonsense when they come across it.

Animals are always curious of what other animals are upto mate, especially this time of year when they are really trying to pack on the fat for the lean months ahead. Its nice to see, rare to see even but I don’t think it’s anything particularly strange or unusual ?

Anyway, to get in the spirit of Air gun hunting: .22 is good out to 9000m but for range work you want the flatter trajectory of .177 which is lethal at upto 18000m ! (Allowing for the wind of course !)

Haha, I used to deal with a load of Brethren, they were top people. As you say, always paid bang on the nail, no messing. When I dealt with them they didn’t use computers and avoided modern technology as much as possible. Absolutely no weekend working, Saturdays for the family and Sundays for the Lord is what they used to say. Dealt with a few down your way mate.

I think it might be based on the tithe system mate as set out in the Bible, so 10% of what you earn go’s to the church. As in every 10th animal under the rod etc etc Pal of mine got caught balls deep in a JW bird, her parents were elders and they excommunicated her !

I think it’s just a case of the sheer numbers of those things that are about mate, cover is dropping, things are venturing further afield as the year draws down. Round you way is alive with deer, and foxes and badger are at epedemic proportions in and around London. I don’t think it’s anything in particular myself

I think the key is in the word “guests”......when you go to a place you are not from you are a guest, you should be aware you are, the locals know you are and you behave as such. I am, I know I am even though I’m just in another part of the British isles and I never forget it and behave accordingly. We have been forced to stop treating these people as guests, we are meant to say they are exactly the same as us which they are obviously not and that they have as much claim to these lands as us, which they don’t.
