No mate you are holding firearms legally and in a controlled environment so there is no cause to reject an application on the grounds that you have a SGC and a FAC. Because he's the poster boy, the best we can produce, by his own admission he's the most physically fit and the most mentally prepared he's ever been...Really I agree it's not just one player we as a team are not good enough Gerrard included and we have been below par for decades, whilst the EPL continue the practice of choosing foreign players instead of developing our own this is destined to continue and it's really disappointing. I said it before the premier league may produce weekly excitement for fans watching world class players from around the globe but this has a high cost of home grown talent which results in us turning out an average world and euro cup squad. Rooney may be some Demi god to some in the UK but on the world stage he's average at best

For that sort of money you could look at a 2nd hand Zeiss Duralyt or maybe a Schmidt and Bender 8 x 50 for around £400.00 Don't discount the Nikon stuff though have a look at the Nikon Monarchs. At the end of the day they make world quality glass for camera lenses so they know about optics.

I'm ashamed to say I'd never heard of it until the first episode that I watched when season 1 began and since then I've watched them all through again a second tine, it's one of the best series ever made IMO "WINTER IS COMING"

Yep great news Godspeed his recovery I have a photo with my lad with Schumacher I took when we met him in a hotel in Italy. He'd just retired from F1 and was being asked to go back in to cover for massa when massa had that bad accident about 5 years ago. -
No worries mate I really liked Tyrian I'm sad to hear he's gone hope he comes back into it. One of the best program's ever featured on tv. I'm sure the "mother of dragons" is going to play a major part in the future...

Re the original question it is more a case of if the land is safe enough to fire a fire arm on. I had land of about 20 acres passed for .22 rim fire when i first started but there are lots of safe back stops. As SS suggests you won't really know unless you put the application in, it's nothing really to do with the size of land, certainly for a first timer it's to do with the police being satisfied its safe to shoot on. I've got a dozen knives, from buck knives, hand made Sheffield steel custom knives, bear grylls survival knives to pocket knives and i have to say the knife I use most is a mora, they are sharp as anything and cheap (£10.00) so I won't be brought to tears should I lose it in the field like I would with my £120.00 buck alpha for example. If you haven't tried one take a look.

If we do get through It's just delaying the inevitable I'm afraid, we are just not good enough to compete competitively on the world stage its that simple. How much is Rooney paid per week and delivered what exactly for England? IMO the big premiership clubs import too many foreign players rather than developing how grown talent and this is and has been the consequence of "big money" in the game. I dearly hope they are successful, I used to be much more positive but the last world cup left such a bitter taste it's been hard to wash it out..
