  1. Looks way too geeky for me so I wouldn't like to think what that says about those of you watching it.
  2. I really rate these. £5.99 for 3x! Clearly budget level but I don't need anything more. Bin em as soon as they start to wear. Midweight Boot Sock 3 Pack Mens WWW.SPORTSDIRECT.COM Karrimor Midweight Boot Sock 3 Pack The Karrimor Midweight Boot Socks offer a comfortable fit thanks to the calf height design and anatomically shaped...
  3. Bunch of raving hypocrites.
  4. Pinching that for my Tinder bio! ? I mean we're different heights (5'9" vs 6'3") for a start so not comparable but generally speaking I think living a busy active lifestyle and eating wholefoods is a good start. Having a dedicated fitness programme is great, especially if you have specific goals but I don't think it's necessary for more modest goals.
  5. Would it be considered bragging to mention mine are a 30" waist But seriously, I've got three pairs and I reckon I should buy another couple. I practically live in them.
  6. One of the best imo. I used to be involved with a shoot which relied on released duck tbh and more than once I have come home with ten brace. I don't get many now and f***ing miss it! Roast whole with plenty of salt rubbed in or skinned breasts cut into strips and marinated in some thai type marinade and then grilled on skewers. ?
  7. I feel lucky to have memories of rabbiting pre-VHD, never mind pre-myxi! To get onto Bradgate with spaniels and shotguns with those sort of numbers would be a hell of a day's sport.
  8. There were many birds involved though so it's not as sad as it sounds! We'll not mention the cocks....
  9. And I’ve got to be honest. How tough the fabric is and how tough the lining is are two different things. Not sure I’d read too much into that promo video.
  10. Well I’ve just come back from beating today and I was wearing a musto gamekeeper that cost 150 and has their BR2 lining. It pissed it down and I’m dry. Early days yet. Last season I had a Swazi. But one of my c**t face mongrels ate it a few weeks ago. Prefer the musto tbh.
  11. It did. My mates missus cooked up a plate for us to share but he didn’t reckon they were crispy enough. I smashed them! So she cooks up another straight away with better batter. Not sure he really reckoned much to them either so I smashed them too, LOL. Honestly were delicious! I wish I had filled a bucket with them.
  12. Between four of us fishing we reckon we had around 150. Ten on the bounce. That’s not fishing with feathers either, just single lure. Glad when one would bump itself off by the end.
  13. I love little missions like this. Hopefully a season full of them yet.
  14. I think the codling (?), one of about half a dozen, was washed up by-catch. But the sprats were pretty much like this all along chesil for the whole week I believe. Certainly like it at Portland end and west bay end so I assume the same in between.
  15. Cheers for the tip. I don't know f**k all about fishing really, but I would imagine literal tons of dead fish washing about over the past week probably left everything fairly full. Is that a thing like? The Beach stunk of dead and I was even snagging half rotten lumps of fish. That said, one fella at least caught a bass, but that was the morning we were on the mackerel... Yeah Chesil.
  16. I think it's the Omega3-Omega 6 ratio. In factory farmed rapid grown stuff they have an imbalance, naturally grown birds have a balance which better suits us.
  17. I used to live very close to there, as you might remember. Went once, nice set-up but the lamb didn't taste any better than Morrisons so never went back. Take a dog and go for a walk around the forest down the lane. I've possibly spent hundreds of hours in there. You can do a decent 4 mile loop from the farm shop.
  18. Truth is, I'm not particularly adventurous, it doesn't take a lot to settle me but takes a lot to move me if you get me. Where I live now I feel very settled and my trips away are a nice break. I think if I was a bit more 'normal' and inclined to live in different places like a lot of folk seem to do these days I'd certainly have moved by now, it's perfect down there. But truth be told I'd probably have gone to NZ, the US or even Africa. In another life maybe... Maybe one day, if it feels like the right time I'll move down there. Even career wise it'd be a good move.
  19. I reckon a Macnab down here would be a Sika stag or Fallow Buck, a legal Bass and a brace of Woodcock. One for November.....
  20. Would've been if I had managed a bass too.
  21. I think I ate my body weight in whitebait and got cold roast mackerel for sarnies for the week Dogs are eating well on the fatty trimming and ribs from that sorrel too.
  22. Me and a mate had planned a beach camp/fishing weekend but he cried off so I thought f**k it I’m going anyway. Grabbed the rifle, rod and pup and headed south to my adoptive county and home of another very good mate and his family. The mackerel were well and truly ‘in’. The water was fizzing with them and bait fish, the bait fish lining the shingle for miles! I had an evening and morning stalking too. A lot of rutting with grunts resonating through the downs. Took a sorrel (probably) that evening and then got on something a bit bigger in the morning. Nothin
