  1. I can't write for shit but can somebody include that bloody Welsh Mod please! I was sure he was gonna get a mention when Skycat included a dead ram!
  2. Dunno about super bug but everybody down here has had a shitty sickness that seems to vary in affect. I've been off work for 3 days this week but only actually sick for about 9 hours. Couldn't eat for a day or so afterwards and felt shite. It's contageous as hell but doesn't sound as bad as you lot are getting! Though I am now being reminded that I may have said something about catching Ebola virus and asking to be shot............
  3. Do the f*****g pens? What for? All the birds should be in cover by now!
  4. its just drawing with a soldering iron onto wood mate cheers Well f**k me, I thought it was some sort of stamp like branding! You're talented! Infact, it's really suprised me how many talented folk there are on this forum.
  5. That's awfully sporting of the chaps! But come'on, a decent poacher can't compete with a decent keeper for numbers. You're gonna have to be a bit sly somehow to win this........
  6. There's a hell of a lot of bollocks being talked on this thread. Warning shots and not having time to get the gun blah blah bullshit. As has been said the law is very clear and has been tested for those bothered to do a little bit of digging. It is perfectly legal to engage an intruder with whatever weapons you can arm yourself with. A man was woken by the sound of fumbling at his front door one night and believed he was being burgled, he grabbed a knife unlocked the door and stuck it in the lad killing him, only to find out it was a pissed relative trying to get into the wrong house!
  7. What's a woodburning? Some sort of bird?................................ Looks like a Lynx throating a deer to me. Seriously though, what have you done? Never heard of 'wood burning' before, other than the stove heating kind.
  8. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tony_Martin_(farmer) "Martin did not hold a valid Shotgun Certificate (licence), let alone the more restrictive Firearms Certificate he would have needed to posess the high-capacity pump-action Winchester shotgun."
  9. Not to mention it was an illegally held pump action 12g............... that he 'found' one day LOL
  10. WTFs wrong with us lot? This is supposed to be THL!! That's enough patting on the back, where's the abuse? So Tomo......... how come ya dogs didn't tackle it? LOL Just messing with ya fella.
  11. Depends how bad it was like. I'm a f****r for chapping anything on the head because of not wanting to let it go and die painfully over the following days. Even if there was no serious damage I should imagine the poor sod would have been in a bit of uncomfort and limped off anyway. Quite probable it'll be bouncing around by tomorrow! Be fit for boxing day! LOL.
  12. I've signed it. That said I'm unsure as to whether or not I agree that some sort of licensing system for Airgun owners is actually a good idea. Maybe not licensing as such but a register. Also it pisses me off that you have to put in your home address etc just to sign a poxy petition.
  13. 9mm then and now..still.. may be wrong!! The difference between 9mm and 38 is 0.002 of an inch I reckon that might take some measuring after it was used Yeah, but the 9x19mm parabalum and the .38 special differ significantly in weights and velocity do they not, so I should think any forensics team worth the name should be able to tell the difference.
  14. Foxfan, are you really saying a nut job slaughtering children in a school is the same as casualties of war?
  15. i feel your opionion may differ if you had lost a nipper this way.........................as for emotions , you havent got a clue what those people who lost children are going through as well as children who witnessed it , easy to talk about it openly as if its just a fact of life get on with it attitude........ no respect , just another statistic.............. Likewise, no good decision was ever made off of the back of such intense raw emotion. What the families are feeling must be hell but right now their opinions on guns mean very little. Any decisions need to be made by impartial i
  16. A bolt is more exciting in my opinion. But a testing dig is more satisfying, if that makes sense. Preference?.............. I'm just happy to find!
  17. Hells Teeth!!! That looks foooooking great fun!
  18. Unfortunately there are more 'believers' in the 'super entity' than there are not, so unfortunately it is "Generally accepted" By your "My Arse" comment it seems we share a common belief that there is no 'Super Entity' That's just undermined your argument............. Not at all Sir It merely states that my belife in a super entity is non existant. Therefore my thoughts are that all the human animals are the same, we are mearly part of a food chain, we kill and take that what we can when we want to. Put us in the ocean with a great white shark and all things being equal

  20. I'd rather keep them out of school if no action was to be taken. It's a fact I'd be a lot happier knowing that there was a couple of highly trained lads there with the tools to end such an event within seconds of it starting, if not before. It looks bad, but I couldn't give two shites about looks. All I care about is results. I think I know what you're saying though mate.
  21. f*****g coward! Makes you wonder all yank schools should have a private security officer in attendance or maybe military personel who are highly trained in CQB and on rotation, 6 months combat tour, 6 months training, 6 months school security. God knows what else they can do?
  22. Fancies himself as the next steve what his face............................... ermmmm Irwin. Mind blank! Steve Irwin.
  23. Thanks for the link Paid So it appears that these are not "rules" for Bedfordshire police specifically but a rewording of "guidlines" issued by the National Association of Chief Police Officers to all police forces, and while there is a cursory mention toward the end regarding respectful treatment of all other faiths and beliefs, muslim customs and practices are the only ones specifically addressed in the main body of the advisory text. It's often easier to dismiss something out of hand........ or to swallow it hook line and sinker........ but a little digging, thanks to Paids link, reveal
