Nah that sounds very peaceful..... They should torture these c**ts everyday till there body can't take no more. You should be able to pay to view it and pay more to take part in it. These torture camps would run themselves. yep got to agree, and bring back the death penalty!!!!!! does anyone know how much it costs to keep a prisoner in prison these days, well its a hell of alot of money, each and every day ! bring back hanging i say Do you? The figure quoted is £45k per inmate per annum. I assume that it will differ on an individual basis.

Thing is food didn't have the calorific content that food has today and the marching thousands of miles carrying/wearing armour, shields and weapons would have made them fit in the case of the roman army. Sailing was all manual work with no mechanisation or aids. There was a documentary on Horizon a few months ago now on the intemittent fasting diet, in depth scientific study. I found it interesting and very logical. Ignoring the fact it's quite a natural diet, fasting and feasting, it's just a smart way of calorie counting effectively. 5 days you can eat as much as you want, whatever you want; 2 days you are limited to 600 cals. Now, the studys have shown that on the feasting days the majority of test subjects only ate about 10% more than normal, which based on 5 days feasting 2 days fasting you have cut your weekly calorie intake by an entire day

I'm only young I guess in comparison to you old timers. I have a career to build and bills to pay like most and you can't let the hunting get in the way of that too much.... I get out as often as I can and take what ever oportunities and experiences come my way. I've got mates I shoot with, mates I lamp with, mates I dig with and few others that fit somewhere in between but not had a few proper keen mates that want to be out in all weathers doing what I do all the time for a few years now. I really don't consider myself educated enough in any one subject to say "yeah, that's my subject". I'm currently, albeit gradually, making my way through Martin Middlebrook's 'The Falklands War'. Some DO have the relevant experience.... to begin with. Then when there's a reshuffle, somehow the bloke who was the health secretary is now in charge of transport, the transport bloke is in charge of schools etc. How can they be experts in all that? As Baw says, they all then have to have advisors to tell them how to do the job, so that is really 2 people doing each job. Someone with knowhow and a mouthpiece. Baw, I get what you mean now. BUT do you really think that politics is the same as industry? It requires a different person with the savvy for beurocracy and democracy. Also, If I'm not mistaken the Secretaries in charge of each department do usually have history and experience in the relavent industries.
