LOL thought that might rattle you. You've taken your preconceptions of me and let your mind run, LOL. You don't have to sing the praises of hare coursing to me. But if you take a moment to read what I put you might realise that I personally wasn't in opposition to it, that's just farcical! This is all off the back of a scientific study that has shown the use of two hounds for flushing to be far less effective than a pack for flushing. That's starkly obvious to any man with an ounce of hunting experience but it took an official study to convince the suits in power..... The study has also shown that two hounds may have to hunt a fox for longer than a full pack before it will present a shot therefore in actual fact being more cruel. Well, I like it and could deffo see myself using it in certain places. This time of year there is a fair bit of chainsaw work going on and I imagine that'd take 10 mins to make and leave around your pen. Be particularly ideal in woods where you don't want traps getting spotted. No humping and dumping involved, just a quick bit of on the job ingenuity. In fact, I reckon I might have a bash this Saturday while clearing deadfall.

LOL, I didn't even get a visit! Just a phone call and a letter saying thankyou for informing us, we'll be in contact again in two years. I think the idea is to take the BBC from a compulsory tax based service to a subscription based service like sky. About time too imo.

I think I agree with you on that. Not sure there is any evidence to suggest it's anything to do with Muslims extremists? Could be a lone wolf associated with any number of extremist groups? Most probably a lone wolf with a grudge with China...... As for the switch, maybe they allow them to be turned off for self defence reasons, otherwise I'm as clueless for a reason as everybody else.

Scot, we'll never know wheather the Allies would have nuked the Nazis. The Manhattan Project only developed the first weapon in 45, by then the Nazis were beat. We blanket bombed Dresden so civilian casualties were'nt a concern if considered necessary collatoral. I really don't know but an interesting point you raise anyway. The fallout would have effected a fair chunk of Europe and the Allies so that may have been a deciding factor also. I guess as well Nazi Germany weren't at Uncle Sams door, the Japs were. hmmmm.........

What always amazed me was that it took two to get the message across! The Jap top brass were all up for carrying on! They had no way of defending against the high altitude bombers and a single bomb would leave a city devastated and they were quite happy to carry on till annihilation. Mad feckers!

PM NAJIB RAZAK’S PRESS STATEMENT ON MH370 This evening I was briefed by representatives from the UK Air Accidents Investigation Branch (AAIB). I am afraid every Englishman does not have the right to have a gun,(thank fu*k) an fac is a privilege,not a right. I'd disagree, it's a right, a right that can be rescinded if you misbehave but a right nonetheless. A privilege implies you are lucky or have to earn it, this is not true, every law abiding citizen has the right to posses firearms for sporting purposes. Maybe that's a matter of semantics but that's how I view it. -
I watched Sink the Bismark! earlier today. Not usually one to sit through an old film but that managed to grab me till the end. I love the new war films but I'd love to see a modern day epic. These small and simple ones that focus on a single battle or one soldier are a plenty, Black hawk Down, Behind Enemy Lines etc etc. A decent film on a modern fictional/semi-fictional conflict with shit loads of fast jets, air craft carriers, subs, tanks, artillery, SFs, the fecking works! Max, I can relate to what you're saying. The dog tests the hare and when hunting is correctly carried out is beneficial to the hare population. But emotions aside, this is population control in the period of 1 month. Realistically, hunting (even if it was legal) will not give you that level of reduction unless lads are running hares all day every day through Feb. To me that level of harrasment is no more ethical than shooting them. Why don't you have the same emotional response to ferreting or shooting rabbits? Should we ban the ferreting and shooting of rabbits because neither are a test of a

LOL, but you accept that the hare shoots are sustainable? Large numbers of hares shot every year numbering as many as 1000 and have been for decades. In the bad old days of land management hare numbers dropped but in the last 20 years are recovering and yet hare shoots have been about all this time..... But of course that wasn't my point, but you decided to focus on that anyway. Fat rich shooters eh.... ironic because the driven hare shoots don't see many fat or particularly wealthy people, on the main its a tradition carried out by the working classes and the fit amongst them.
