  1. FFS, so we pretty much agree? Like I said, business as usual for most just have to be a bit savvy. A full repeal would be great, save having to be savvy!
  2. Only when the person talks as much shite as you stick to bamboozling folk with google facts Funny that, what of my comments is "shite"? I expect another witty retort that dodges the question....... master of bullshitting eh Baw? f**k me, another joker who blames me for his own downfalls. Read back, who is the one between us who has avoided the questions? I hold my breath for your analysis..... Did I have lurchers before the ban? No, I was going through state education. Hell, I think I had an air rifle and a fishing rod when the ban came in. Not like I haven't hunted with plen
  3. But that's all fact mate..... As things stand a vote would 100% certainty go against us! That would pretty much be the final nail in any repeal hopes. If they had a majority we would at least have had a fighting chance. We were promised a vote, but what is the point without a majority? You tell me?

  5. "Do you have one Baw?" not "Did you have one Baw?". You were trying to guage whether I had any experience pre ban and I was trying to guage whether you have any experience in todays climate of hunting with dogs. Lets cut the shit, folks are still diggging foxes and hunting with hounds and lurchers. They have all just read the law and adapted to keep things legit. That's a fact. Of course I'm talking about hunting on permissions, knocking deer or hares over without permission has always been illegal. I answered 2, I had 3 but now I have 2. Is there any way to make that any clearer? So mr

  8. It's great when someone can't actually find a decent argument so resorts to the "you're too young to know what you're talking about".
  9. Answer mine first..... Errr I did 2, TWO, that's between 1 and 3...... 2!!! But that wasn't my question was it.....
  10. Ohhhhh ffs I wouldn't expect you to understand, you have nothing to do with British politics.
  11. Bird, we never got the free vote in Parliament for one good reason......... The Electorate didn't give the Conservatives the majority they needed to win the vote. Cameron could quite happily put it to the Commons, but without a clear majority Goverment it would be a monumental waste of time and quite frankly embarassing.
  12. Do you really believe that Bird? Organised official coursing events like the waterloo are consigned to history but everything else is business as usual from what I've seen. Folks have read the Hunting Act and adapted. Do you have a lurcher or had one born? LOL, yes, LOL. Do you have one Baw?

  14. Black mongrel terrier. I'd be lost without her when rough shooting.
  15. . Were is chritian when you need him These ladies strike me as having a bit of class tbh, I doubt even Christian could find some smutt featuring these ladies......... Challenge?
  16. Jessica Robertson would get it!
  17. Dogs were deemed, rightly or wrongly, essential to rabbit and rat control. That's why squirrels also are not exempt. It's illogical in terms of cruelty because a squirrel isn't much harder for a dog to kill than a rat but in terms of efficiency and cost benefit in pest control dogs are not considered essential for hunting them. But that's what happens when you let city folk make decisions on things they know nowt about. They even commisioned the Burns inquiry and then completely ignored every word of it!
  18. Yeah, the network booted him for him putting homosexuals in the same sentence as pedophiles when he was speaking his religious beliefes. I believe the family then said "he's in or we're all out" and the network let him back in. I don't agree with all his redneck philisophies but I can get on with people without having exactly the same beliefes. The man's a bit of a legend imo.
  19. I'm not turning this into a coursing vs shooting thread. I simply understand how it's much more difficult to justify coursing to the masses than it is the proposed changes to the law and for that matter shooting. I wont sacrifice another mans sport to save my own and shame on anybody that will, it's disgusting but that's our biggest weakness and always will be. That's the last I have to say on coursing in this thread.
  20. Max, you've clearly never seen land that's been coursed to death then? Lads can kill strong hares if they have no respect for them, I've watched them! They can wipe land clear of hares too. Just like a gun can if they don't show any restraint. Shooting is indescriminate for the most part you're right, an annual cull will take out a percentage of hares across the spectrum of fitness and cunning. But those that are left are still subject to the laws of nature and natural selection as they would be without shooting, all shooting has done is reduce the overall population, it's not tipped the ratio
  21. Coursing can be beneficial for the Hare, just as shooting can be. They can both equally be fecking awfull for them. Fact is where there are sportsmen wanting to bag hares in a sustainable way there will be strong hare populations. Both can be abused to the detriment of the Hare. Certain local Hare populations have been shot for decades and it certainly hasn't been to the populations detriment, the way you go on you would think that coursing is the only mechanism for natural selection in Britain and without it the Hare would be doomed! LOL. Hare coursing should be legal because it's a susta
  22. You can educate them all you like, fact is folks don't like seeing a dog or dogs killing fluffy critters in the modern world! And where have I said coursing has no place in 21stC Britain, twisting my words to fit your image of me eh Max? You want to ditch hare shooting to save your own enjoyment and you expect your fellow countrymen to get behind you? Never mind the public that on average frown on us getting enjoyment from anything that involves killing.
  23. And unlike you Max, I'm not willing to 'sacrifice' any of my fellow countrymen's sports or traditions to save any other, regardless of whether I enjoy that particular flavour or not.
