  1. The wife isnt up for it she would miss her family too much ...after coming back from oz ....It was a cracking morning the first bit of heat and signs of spring w'ed had I was on the river salmon fishing ..then was on the hill with the dogs ...and went digging on the sunday and I had one of those moments when I thought you know what I would miss all this I'm hoping to be over there on work in a few months. I'll take a weeks holiday and have a bit of a nosey around. See what I make of the place. Still don't think I'd want to leave Britain though.... or for that matter England.
  2. Not off to Oz anymore then MIK? Tbh as far as sporting oportunities go, Scotland doesn't lack much!
  3. Lets have a visual then? I have a mental image of a bit of rough sawn fencing timber wedged in on the piss and 'fixed' with no nails. LOL
  4. I love it too mate but how do we know we aren't missing out? It's raining the now, pretty cold. Somewhere someone is waking upto sunshine, palm trees, rich ocean..... We only have one life, why spend it on the same rock? We are in a rock pool and just a small distance is the sea, but we are happy in our rock pool..... But..... This is gonna sound all deep and shit but sometimes we put a lot of effort into searching for something that is right in front of us. I'm not a travelled person, I'd like to but I put higher value on other things right now and sadly money and time are finite res
  5. This country is big enough for me at the moment, I have no need or want to leave. I'd like to spend some more time in Scotland though. Hopefully get out to Canada hunting over the next few years with a friend but don't think I'd want to live there. New Zealand would be nice too and the older I get the more I'm tempted by France and their rich hunting culture and beautiful country. Right now moving to the south coast is about as adventurous as I'll get, something I keep thinking about. But why leave? I love Britain...
  6. You can keep ya karaoke and darts but I love having a few apple and raspberry J2Os at a decent pub. Couldn't agree with you more. see that's your were your going wrong nobody sings on j20s you need a couple of jd an cokes and you'll be carrying on like an extra from shameless lol I know mate, we all have our faults. LOL
  7. Socks, I spend enough time in my own company as it is, and that's the way I've always been so I'm happy enough. But I really do appreciate a bit of social interaction as well.

  9. LOL, Scot, do you know how many times people have said similar to me.
  10. I'm not a drinker so kinda out of place anyway. But there's nothing better than an hour in good company at a lovely country pub. Good way to wind down after a mornings shooting too, doesn't feel right if we don't go to the pub for a few drinks and snacks with the dogs after a mornings rough shooting.
  11. As a result of the manner of Lockett’s death, Oklahoma has now suspended the execution of Charles Warner, who was convicted of raping and killing 11-month-old Adrianna Waller in 1997. Warner was living with the child’s mother at the time: he denied the charge. Suspended!!! He raped and murdered an 11 month old baby and the state is concerned about the humaneness of his killing? LOL
  12. Walshie mate, I'd just pay someone to do it, lol.
  13. Why don't they just use a shotgun or large cal pistol? Cheap, humane and very difficult to f**k up. I mean, you're executing someone deemed unworthy of life in society, why does it have to be quiet and peaceful?
  14. Some sort of ply shelf system insert? Wouldn't be that hard to knock up...
  15. Having read what the changes to the page were it's pretty disgusting. I just find it hard to believe that anybody in government would do that, I mean it's not to protect themselves or to hide anything, it's just malicious and easily linked back to the apparent source. I wouldn't at all be suprised it this is another act of cyber terrorism. There are plenty of well known groups that soley exist to shame and discredit our government in any way they can. Equally it might just be some horrible and dumb little c**t in Whitehall.
  16. Ohh I don't know mate anyone got one I can try b*****d! You are aware you've now just accepted the 'snipe with a garden gun' challenge as witnessed by THL? I'm putting in for a variation for an 8 shot auto..... see if I can get my cartridge to kill ratio into three figures! LOL
  17. As with anything it's just about being sensible and having a bit of discretion and consideration for others. It does make some people feel uncomfortable and kids can make that worse so I think it's just polite to be as discrete as is reasonably possible. There's no reason the woman in the swimming pool couldn’t have simply got out and fed in the changing rooms. But equally a mother with a new born will be caught out in town etc and can't be expected to find the nearest toilet so discretely feeding I would consider perfectly acceptable. Only last month I was waiting for a lift with a friend
  18. They're butterfly guns! I can't think of any situation where I'd prefer either 22 or 9mm over a 410 with a 2" cartridge.
  19. Whether you carry on your state education further or not does not effect the value of it. The basic education this country gives children broadens them as humans and opens their minds to what is out there. History, Geography, DT, Foreign Languages they all help to show a youngster the depth and breadth of the world they live in before they go on to tread their own path.
  20. Of course UKIP aren't against immigration. Seriously is that where we're at these days? "f**k all the immigrants" while swigging the dregs out of a can of stella? UKIP pretty simply want full sovereignty returned to the British government, so we can fully control our borders. They want sustainability........ they don't want to torpedo ships of asylum seekers or to treat Ghurkhas as mercenaries or any number of other unpopular BNP stances. Some people accuse them as being a watered down limp wristed BNP/NF....... others, myself included, see them as a sensible conservative/nationalist party
