  1. I assume you will loose any choke the barrel might have?
  2. Watched that ... Wasn't it 3 months and he cracked after 2 ? ........ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alone_in_the_Wild Yeah, you're right, I thought it was a year. To be honest, I'm a solitary/independent sort of person but not sure if I could hack that sort of solitude. f**k knows, might be just what I need. LOL
  3. There was one, a proper hard core survival one, where one man was dropped off in the Canadian wilderness to survive alone for a year and film it with a little hand held camera. I think he cracked after a good few months and got lifted out. Mentally being alone for that long finished him.
  4. Sounds like it might be worth a watch. I read something about it, Bear reckons the idea behind it was that in todays world men are pretty much immasculated not having the same roles they had hundreds or thousands of years ago so going back to basics and seeing what remains of 'manliness'. All sounded a bit shite tbh but from what you lot are saying it sounds alright.
  5. 2 'fully equipped' but 10 still operated or jointy operated by the USAF.
  6. RAF Feltwell http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RAF_Feltwell
  7. LOL, I didn't know off hand the number but I knew there was a few, driven past them in the past. The yanks have a few intelligence and communications bases out here amongst other things.
  8. I'm pretty sure there still two airbases. Almost certain there one still at thetford well there was one there not to long ago. There are ten RAF bases occupied by the USAF.
  9. What about those japanese fighting fish? Could one of those take a honey badger?
  10. With all this carry on I went and checked my FAC, it also says 22RF..... This aint a mistake, it seems numerous forces are using it.
  11. FFS don't any of you lot know how to use google? http://www.muirkirk.org.uk/meg/totem-poles.htm Three Totem Poles now grace the Parish of Muirkirk, two in the village itself and one at Glenbuck Loch. The two in the village are located in the Heritage Layby, on the A70 at the western end of the village, and at the entrance to Garronhill, just off the A70 towards the eastern end of the village. The Totem Poles are adorned with sculptured representations of birds of prey which can be seen in the locality of Muirkirk and Glenbuck. Each Totem pole also carries carvings depicting si
  12. Show max a pic and let him make his mind up Socks. In fact, never mind the Froch Groves rematch, let's just chuck a pic up of them both and let max pic a winner.
  13. That's not just aimed at you SHH. There was a few of you starting to walk a fine line all over a silly and completely pointless argument. I'd hate to see any of you end up under scrutiny over it.
  14. I wonder.... LOL. A load of you bitching at each other and starting to talk a bit too openly. How to tail badgers, how fast a dog can deal with one from experience and how easy one is to stick, ya know from your taxidermist friend. LOL
  15. Couple of fenns or BGs in tunnels. Get ya mate to buy them for you. Never mind the cats. Bollocks to buggering about waiting to shoot them.
  16. I know I'm sounding like a bit of a fanny, but it would be great if he rocked up to the trapping and stalking sections of this site. Even be interested to hear his views on his dogs etc. He just comes across as a genuine guy. Nice one, Charlie.
  17. What a good idea, send Baw over to the THL haters...........
  18. I was about to say that! Get him on here!
  19. Stalking Directory?????
  20. f**k being a kennel hand for the Moore's though!
  21. Mountain Men should be back on for it's 3rd season in not too many months. That's another great documentary series, loads of trapping, hunting and subsistence living.
  22. Wouldn't mind spending some time with Joey and Stan. Both sound lads that love their lives. You could see how much it meant to Joey to catch his first wolf and even his first wolverine. Stan wont pack up, he said to his bro he'll die out there. It's just for a dramatic season finale. Joey will take on all the dangerous jobs to support his family, as is the way.
  23. Neither did I untill it wasn't on this week. Then realised they left it with everyone uncertain as to their future, a natural season ending. All will be well beginning of next season, lol.
  24. I think so, there wasn't one on this week. Last episode Pats wife came home, Bob finally left for Faibanks and Stan was going on about being too old to carry on....
  25. I just enjoy the odd week off work, spend a few days out somewhere and the rest just chilling and doing whatever I fancy. Nothing exciting.
