  1. I work for an oil services company, we make shit that finds hydrocarbons and minerals, specifically in the case of the Brazillian work, iron ore. It's not exciting and going to Brazil won't happen, LOL. I'm a physicist in the loose sense of the term.
  2. Once or twice..... LOL I'm trying to get work to send me to Brazil! We have some South Americans doing work for us in Brazil and there's a bit of a language barrier, I'm strongly suggesting I should go out there for a few months and oversee things. I can but try. LOL
  3. Conversely, he also wins with the guarding strippers job! Just for you born,,,,lol Yeah alright, no need to rub it in! LOL. The blonde with the big smile looks like fun. I see now why you're always on about working in Ibiza.... f**k me, you look trim there too....... What happened?
  4. Does anybody have line manager experience?? No Does no-one want to earn 50k with pension etc??? Yes When do I start?

  7. Very true, but when you actually think about it doesn't that just SUCK!? LOL
  8. LOL, yeah that's probably half of what I'm about, but I certainly don't quite have the enthusiasm for it like some of my colleages. But bollocks, we all have to do it and that's pretty much my attitude.
  9. Not so sure about that mate It is in my experience I don't seem to quite have the same passion everybody else does. I never had you down as having the hand me out ethics............ Nice try. I don't need or ask for any hand outs, still doesn't mean I enjoy the 9-5 shite.

  11. Simply working for a living sucks the big one! But the most sickening job I've ever had the desparation to take would have to be charity fundraising... where you knock on as many doors as you can in the evening when good folks are trying to chill out after work and badger them into setting up a direct debit for some poxy charity. A c**ts job, I felt like one and got treated like one. Factory work wasn't great either and 3 months working for a NHS data migration company with a bitch of a boss was also shite. But yeah, working for a living is one pile of STD ridden GASH!
  12. Thanks for the info SB. I think I might have to buy a mask/snorkel and fins and have a go in Cornwall this summer. Just get comfortable with diving before moving on to foraging for my dinner.
  13. Always struggle with these questions. I guess I'd love to burn the ear off of an old and bold SBS operator in a quiet corner of a country pub, one of the guys from the 70s when modern special forces soldiering was really being pioneered. Or an MI6 agent from the same cold war era. Neil Armstrong about the moon landing would be another good one. Wouldn't mind taking Angelina Jolie or Penelope Cruz out for an evening meal either, LOL. Just to say I had!
  14. True Ken, breaking dogs to cats saves a lot of agro mate. Buck killed a cat last week , and since then the prat I swear looks for them . the prob I suppose by me I don't really see that many, as there quite busy road by me, and the if there any here the people, don't loose them out that much, or I just don't see them. Bryn not to bad he might run a cat, but would not kill one I know that, he just bark at it. I don't think Buck had really seen a cat before, maybe the odd one in distance if you know what I mean when he was a small pup. So the day he killed the cat took me by surprise, when I
  15. I'm no waterman myself, I don't swim well at all, but a lot of my spare time is spent down a beach, either surfing or trying to get a feed and it's only when I get comments like this that I actually realise just how lucky I am… I spend most of my time wishing that I could have better this and better that (usually dogs and ground to run them on!!! ) that I forget just how good the simple things (that I take for granted) really are…. I can swim 'okay', I'm just not a natural like some. Still not mastered how to float, I just sink! LOL. I'd love to be able to go to the coast for a long
  16. How many rifles have you broken with "a good file and a little knowledge" Paul?
  17. f***ing hell stig, you could have hours of fun with a couple of bushers in your back garden!
  18. Awesome! That's something I'd really like to get into......... I'm just not very at home in water. Keep playing with this idea of moving to the south coast and doing shit like that all the time. It's a nice dream if nowt else. I'm very jealous mate, and starving for some shelfish now!
  19. Well, there's now officially a Sentinel spy plane going over and intelligence analysts. Be interesting to see how this plays out now we are taking a bit more than an advisory role.... Sorry, 'been offered'.
  20. I don't think it would be stretching our resources, there's counter terrorism UKSFs squadrons on rotation 24/7 for deployment anywhere in the world. We have kit in Africa right now as part of training operations. It wouldn't be a year long campaign. It'd be a replay of Sierra Leone if you are looking for similarities to previous UK interventions. Yeah, there'd be a lot of exterminating LOL but with live hostages instead of dead ones.
  21. You shifted that cooker yet!?
  22. We very recently commited a significant amount of Naval assets to the Malaysian Airline search and the typhoon relief and rescue. and found jack shit LOL, but so what? The point being we did the moral thing and not for the oil that everybody claims is the reason for any military deployments.
  23. I'm well aware of them Scot. Those that are publicised at least. But fact is, the best people by a significant margin to rescue those Girls are in the nations I've mentioned.
