Maybe if one day the stars align for me or some shit I'd like to go self guided to New Zealand. Also seen aussie Adam Greentree self guided backcountry elk in Colarado and Montana so maybe thats an option.

I bought myself a starter rig back in the summer. Not used it much since as I've been busy with the shooting season. They're very enjoyable just target shooting, much more so than a rifle imo but maybe that's just novelty. I was quite surprised at the precision of it... my first ever 40 yard group (pulled one).

f**k yes it should be legal! Banned in 1965, I think because it was seen as a poachers tool.

They'd fast find a way of compromise and cooperation if the people refused to fund them while 'America is closed'!

Just seen it's got Kim Coates in it. I'm watching SoA now (bit late I know, lol) and I like his character, bit of a f****d up sense of humour like me.

How do you know?

I feel like this is perfect material for a Jonathan Pie style satirical outburst... Maybe that's what the fieldsports community needs to get this shit across to the emotional masses that back this shite.

Unless you are competing in the sport of Crossfit then using bands to assist strict pull-ups is probably more suitable for the average gym goer. I think, like you say, whatever motivates you is generally a good thing. The standard routine can be f***ing mind numbing.

It's not been released yet mate. Anything that has been seen is concept or the test vehicle with a cut down RR shell on it.
-
LOL. It's not the new defender, it's just a limited edition run of the old one. The new one is expected to be released later this year.

I'd hope they at least tried to pick it. Snipe can just fecking disappear though. Especially if the dogs aren't used to picking them.

I'm not sure why she is 'hopeful' of keeping a pup back. Not like she has to run it by the f***ing police first, you either are or you aren't. Tbh I reckon those pups will be gone fairly easy. Your average well-to-do doggy trainer type would probably feel more comfortable buying one of these than associating with any of you ruffians. Wonder how many buyers ask for their KC reg papers seeing as the breeder has ticked that box on the advert....

Sounds fantastic tbh.

Great post! Funny, BASC and the GWCT have said that we should restrain on the Timber-dicks this year but everyone seems to be seeing good numbers and cracking on as usual. I don't think very many people actually make an effort to target them, rather being shot opportunistically while out shooting anyway so it stands that if numbers were low then less would be shot. Hunting can self regulate in that way.

The more folks want to take back responsibility the better, I support that, just so long as we don't chuck out the rule of law along with the government! LOL. It's my opinion that most of these groups aren't a result of that perceived void but simply on the bandwagon for their own moral crusade. Other than a select few instances I don't think the general public think paedophiles represent a significant problem. But ya know, if that's what they want to do, then they can knock themselves out for me.... I have my doubts how many of them realise what due process means, those that really

Whether it's the government or volunteers, the principles of justice should remain. In fact people under investigation should have even greater rights and protections if we're going to have groups who are essentially unaccountable doing the work. Social media should only be used the way it has been by these 'paedo hunters' for public awareness of government/judiciary failings, not for the pat on the back they are now. By doing that they're only encouraging extrajudicial punishment and that crosses a line. By all means have private investigators who are motivated by justice and public
-
LOL, yeah it has it's benefits I don't deny and it is the default nature of the average Briton.
-
I didn't say we're backwards, I said different.

Personally I wouldn't trust one of these 'vigilantes' that operates so publicly as far as I could throw them. What we're talking about here isn't full on Dark Knight vigilantism, it's the more legal kind of private and voluntary police force, the trial and sentencing is still done by the justice system. The problem I have with it is they do their investigation, then confront the accused all on video shouting and raving in the street, post it all over FB and hand their collection of evidence to the police for due process/trial etc. The public, through FB, immediately label the accused a paedop

Chris's comment on attitudes is something that is fairly well noted and you probably didn't realise it but your comment on guns is a classic example. In the UK we want the government to do everything for us in exchange for payment (tax), in the US they want the government to provide them with the minimum necessary to sort their own shit out on an individual and community level. That IS half the reason they hold 2A so dearly, it is their ability to protect themselves, they don't want to have to rely on the government to do that.

Is it not true that there is a bit of difference between a Hog and a Boar? I mean, most these Yank, Aussie and Kiwi hog doggers are hunting feral hogs right, domestic breeds of pig that went feral years ago and have bred sustainable in the wild since. Are they really the same animal as a European Wild Boar? The sort of animal you'll find in Germany etc. I see a lot of videos of Yank/Aus/Kiwi hog doggers making light work of a pig. I don't see many videos of the Europeans doing the same with one of their pigs.
