Mr Trump also raised eyebrows by suggesting that law enforcement officials should be able to confiscate people's firearms without a court order to prevent potential tragedies. "Take the guns first, go through due process second," he suggested. Well that's him f****d for a second term. Dem's wouldn't back him even if he ended poverty, unhappiness and violence in an act akin to a divine miracle! And now his core will be considering actually using the second amendment! You just can't say shit like that in the presence of a constitutional conservative and get away with it.

You were a kid that always used the carrot for the nose then eh.

Woke up to about 3" (of snow!) this morning. Hopefully more over the next couple days.
-
Barely a dusting here. Pretty much drizzling snow constantly but nothing heavy. I love it. A bit of adversity reminds you that you're alive.

I don't think very many young lads really consider that fella a role model. For the average teen and twenty something their role models are Eddie Hall, Tom Hardy, that MMA Irishman, maybe Dan Bilzerian and the likes. But yeah they do probably eat the odd lettuce too.

What Chris doesn't mention is that he keeps words to a minimum to save the locals having a '1776 flashback' and getting the sharp end of that revolver!
-
Genuinely didn't see it coming that time. you really don't know how ya feel about em do ya wilf.

Yeah those two are alright too, entertaining I'd say. I thought that MAC distinguished itself with a level of professionalism not seen on the others.
-
@ChrisJones I've watched bits of the MAC before and always thought he was a really good representative of responsible gun owners. Not cowboyish at all.

Currently it seems like there are stabbings every other day in and around Nottingham.

e-collar and time proven operant conditioning.

It appeals a lot, just kinda unnecessary in the UK. I think the Pace Brothers run what they call 'wilderness hunts' in Scotland. https://www.thepacebrothers.com/wilderness-hunts I just like packing my rucksack and rifle and hitting the wolds/downs for the day. Yeah you're amongst agriculture as opposed to wilderness but it's the closest I can get to that wild freedom that I seem to crave.

Tbh the variety of sport the rabbit can offer would make it hard to beat.
-
If we're talking just dogs then probably daytime deer, fallow (maybe roe) if I really have to be specific. If i can include a gun then probably woodcock over spaniels. I love variety too much to be happy with just one quarry though and taste changes over time. Edited, how the f**k did I end up in the lurcher section! Never mind the gun comment.

Bet it's his hairstyle... short back and sides and he'd be a compliant angel.

Whuuuuuuuut, you mean to say the media might not be representative of society? Surely not!

Comprehensive post! Take it steady mate it's Sunday! Regarding what stiff and others have been saying I found this excerpt from that presntation quite pertinent. "Here’s what happens if the scene is still active and an officer goes in. Sixty-two percent of the time, the officer shoots the attacker. Another 13 percent, the officer otherwise subdues the attacker. The remaining 25 percent of the time, the suspect kills himself. So 75 percent of the time when the solo officer goes in and the scene is still hot, the officer is taking direct action against the attacker. And he

Curiosity and rigour got the better of me, ive read what i believe are the pertinent parts. Have a missed something mate, it's all about first responders, ie paramedics, and not LE? Only really mentions LE out of necessity because both need to liaise.
-
I haven't but I'll take your word for it. I have read this presentation and study of 84 active shooter events and LE depts training and policy on them by the Police Executive Research Forum. "Columbine brought about a sea change in police tactics. “Contain and negotiate” may be appropriate for hostage incidents or situations where a person is barricaded in a room and unable to harm victims. But it is not appropriate for active shooter incidents. Columbine resulted in new approaches in which patrol officers are being trained to respond to active shooters as quickly as possible."

Wait for the backlash from 2A supporters against those companies. As much as folks like to think the NRA are the source of all evil, the pro gun portion of the electorate are powerful alone.
-
I call it the 'leave me alone in the woods'. It'll be banned soon.

I was in the barber's yesterday.... felt rebellious as f**k! Please don't ban me!

I've set a reminder in my calender.
