Dunno mate, all I know is his mate over there gave it to him, it was 45acp 1911 type and he did some range time with it, switched to hollowpoints for the field and they didnt feed well causing the slide to jam. Hes videoing this big f***ing griz, shitting himself with his gun drawn and hadnt even noticed the slide at half cock! Despite how that sounds the man is a bit of a hero of mine. I love how honest he is about why he hunts, that he just cracks on and his general outlook to life. Cam Hanes is another one I follow but he can be a bit much for my taste at times. A pretty impressive fe

He was charged by a bear and had his defensive sidearm malfunction in Colarado! c**ts got more lives that Wile.e coyote!

He nearly f***ing died in NZ!

Adam Greentree, yeah I follow him on Instagram and watch his podcasts on YouTube. His colarado/Montana elk hunt last fall was brilliant.

Thanks No, I've not hunted or even been to Africa. I've not hunted outside of the UK. Trying to organise a trip o New Zealand though.
-
Good post. Have you hunted Impala? I'd have to have a bash at those, they interest me but don;t know why particularly, lol. Warthogs look cracking fun too.
-
They killed some fair sized rats there. It's cool that they can do it without any bother. They're having fun and that's what matters to them but I bet a seasoned British team of 'proper' terriers would be murder!

f***ing hell man you live in the highlands! Has the snow even melted yet? Hot! LOL

f***ing hell you uncultured spanner. That is ted Nugent the gun toting yank musician/celebrity, our ted is a regular good lad ex pat who i assumed just took him as a namesake. Sorry for the outburst.

PS I've recently become a massive fan of Rogan's JRE podcast! I watch em with all sorts of characters, not just folks I agree with. Some quite interesting stuff from folks I wouldn't have given a second thought.

I think the fella can be quite reasonable on the subject of hunting but on the subject of gun control he's just fanatical imo. And I'm pretty much with him in principle (relative to the UK of course), I just think shit like that is utter nonsense and undermines the credibility of his points.

Saturday breakfast before work starts. Love being able to start the day in these cool and peaceful summer mornings, the dog kicking about and bird song.

Single American pancake filling the whole skillet, served with honey and a large mug of coffee.

I've watched the interesting bits from this podcast I had to raise my eyebrow to this claim...

I have no idea why they’re not reinforcing with actual professionals, firemen and keepers. It makes sense as you say. I just assume that it’s not possible or an acceptable risk. As for getting the blame. I’m not sure that’s fair. Every time the military is pulled in to aid with an emergency, this fire, floods, Ebola epidemic, foot and mouth, domestic security, disaster relief, search and rescue; they’re largely seen as saviours and viewed with pride by the country imo.
-
Nah not the rspb, cos they'd have said it was keepers riding motorbikes to persecute raptors.

Me every time a modern liberal, post modernist, social justice warrior speaks to me before I've had coffee.

Haven't the armed forces been at the government's disposal in emergencies since forever? Soldiers might not like it but it's not something new. And frankly these days the more valuable they are in auxiliary roles the better before some c**t with a biro wipes out more of them so as to afford a new f***ing MRI for the NHS or some other shite.
-
Agreed. And it's f***ing shameful that the keepers helping out haven't had a mention in the press. I think I'm right in saying these moors aren't keepered but in the hands of the RSPB?

LOL This success really strengthens the odds of Canada choosing our product that’s out to tender. That’d be a huge win too. Also got New Zealand and Malaysia I think with NZ being obvious choice for interoperability with their closest regional ally. Good result that’ll hopefully bring down procurement costs for the Royal Navy, boost our economy and improve ties with non EU partners.

https://ukdefencejournal.org.uk/theresa-may-hails-biggest-naval-defence-contract-for-a-decade-as-australia-picks-type-26-frigate/ That's a £20B contract and I really think is the sort of road we need to be embracing. Strengthen economic and military ties with our commonwealth friends and really take advantage of our in house technical excellence. We could do with a government that shares that ideal because this one is just taking credit for what industry has achieved here.

Waste not want not. The Indians invented curry for such an occasion!
