    Gents, plenty of sovereign military hardware to be proud of today. Two of the largest warships ever built for the RN are in the water now.     Honest to f**k can't get my head around that, and I've seen video of another yank doing exactly the same! (not suggesting it's exclusively American behaviour) I understand some folks want rid for whatever reason. The bit I can't get my head around is that they find it easier to dump the poor animal than just shoot it. Emotionally or for than matter physically.     Just watched the first episode of Yellowstone. Written by the same chap that did Sicario, Wind River and Hell or High Water. It's f***ing gripping! Real air of Longmire to it!

    For people that have no time for their dogs at all. But for working dogs it's just part of the deal. I need to earn a living and I want to work dogs. Imo welfare is not compromised at all. Dogs don't need constant attention.

If we don't get what we want then that's because we don't really have the stomach for it, democratically speaking that is.     Mate, in the guidance it is listed under the Fox section and specifically says "In windy areas, where heavier bullets aid accurate shooting, or if applicants wish to use one rifle for shooting both deer and foxes...". The HO allow 6.5 for certain fox only circumstances. Besides Stav's example said as a general purpose rifle, which to me implied more than just fox. Also in my example I only really used it as an arbitrary example. I could have used a multitude of others, like some forces not allowing 243 for fox.

    There are plenty of ways of correcting for such. Was last time I checked the guidance. I'll check again, hang on.

    I think it needs more depth too though. There needs to be a factor that ranks how likely a person is to be granted too imo. Different forces seem to have different levels of comfort in granting. For instance some forces are very reluctant to grant first time FAC applicant CF, or some forces are reluctant to grant 6-6.5mm CF for fox.

    I'm not really best person to help with that. I'm fiercely independent and the moment I get a whiff of potentially depending on someone or becoming a crutch for someone I preempt the problem. They're difficult situations. I'd probably make it clear I can't be reliable and see how they adapt to that. If you know they're going to be needing you tomorrow, tell em you are away and be intentionally awkward about it. See how they adapt to that and go from there. I don't mind helping people but it's offered not assumed. It'll be more difficult to deal with when you do feel that there is a w

    I'll let you make your own decisions but I'm quite happy leaving a dog 9-10 hours with 1 walk a day. What you're talking about sounds a bit more than that. Sounds more like a taking the piss problem than an animal welfare problem but could become a welfare problem if they have no one to take the piss out of. It's not fair to make that call until it happens though imo.

    In 2011 it was 80% white British, 83% generic white. It's either changed a f**k load in 8 years or the statistic is bollocks. The conclusion you make is probably still valid though.
