  1. Ya f****r, ya edited it before I could move!
  2. Another sad thing is that if the authorities ever did decide to get serious about culling deer, for public safety, it'd probably cost hundreds of thousands, would be regulated to f**k and be done entirely by professional contractors. ie the badger cull....
  3. I'm not for one second suggesting that the Gov could enact a policy of public land like in other countries. But, IF the landowners let keen lads crack on then I expect the deer would be culled and they would be just fine for it. So much absolute nonsense surrounds deer and rifles on this island.
  4. Virtually no one hunts in the uk. Almost everyone hunts in NZ.
  5. Everyone should be encouraged. Too much protection of stalking rights and too much industry promoted regulation. f**k all like that in NZ and their reds are doing just fine for it. Id love absolutely nothing more than to be pointed at the most wild lump of Scotland and told to “crack on”!
  6. Gummed a goat to death in Jigsaw's goat thread on GT. Check it out.
  7. How has no one noticed that front scope ring not seated right? LOL I don't shoot airguns anymore but I'd be dubious how firmly your scope is seated mate. Bring that front scope mount a touch back so it sits flush with the scope tube and isn't canted up by the taper of the objective lens.
  8. Didn't jigsaw put a post up last week about pups out of two dogs just like that....
  9. Fair. Little bit of money in it is all I was thinking.
  10. Nice head and skin on that one too. You considered processing them too?
  11. Love a goat thread I do! nice one
  12. Ah sound! And I’m glad to hear others rate them.
  13. Well, I thought with the hard time you lot give him on here I'd give the fella a compliment!
  14. He's busy with year 6 English lessons.
  15. Dunno if anyone else has tried them. Be interesting to hear some other opinions...
  16. I mean, I haven't been yomping the winter rape like normal because it's all failed this year. And that is the real test of a pair of gaiters for waterproofing imo. But I have been in puddles half way up my shin and remained dry, very simply because they are designed to fit snug (like a wetsuit) so you get no water ingress between the gaiter and boot, unlike with a traditional gaiter. They also seem shockingly bramble resistant. They also enhance your ankle support a little. I wear them with my Altberg Highcountry boots.
  17. Talking of gaiters. I've been using neoprene MacGaiters this season. Couldn't really get on with gaiters before but I'm loving these.
  18. Sounds a cracking day with the exception of your mates bitch going back.
  19. Tangent... look how f***ing stoned Joe is here! This is why I can't take him seriously when he's spouting the virtues of weed. It doesn't improve shit! LOL
  20. Save ya self the bother, I'm not an expert, just thinking out loud until one comes along. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. I wouldn't have too much faith in the Iranian military's ability when compared to a Western one. All of the units a probably fantasising about the prospect of being the ones to shoot down the 'american devils' first. And those higher up are probably shitting themselves at the thought of what trump will splat next! Yep, accidents happen in these situations. When we were skirting the coast of the Gulf coming home from Oz a couple months ago I was looking at that flig
  21. The Iranian's are shitting bricks over US air strikes now, either drone style assassinations or similar to what Syria has had a taste of under the Trump administration and Tehran is their heart. I imaging everyone there have been on a knife edge recently. Not to mention they flung a load of ballistic missiles about within hours of it. Any speculation that it was a US false flag has little credibility in my mind. A. what does it achieve? It's hardly grounds for invasion or regime change. B. Tactically, how do they achieve that without the Iranians knowing? To my knowledge the US
  22. Western governments are now claiming that Iran likely shot down the airliner. I find that much more plausible than the other explanations offered so far.
  23. Our constitutional monarchy gives a check on government that is free of the partisan childish BS that goes on in the Commons, historically answerable only to God. Whether there is still value in that today might be questionable but I think it's quite indisputable the contribution our monarchy makes to our world leading diplomatic and soft power. The UK would be a hell of a lot poorer without them.
