  1. Don't believe it. The measures in place now should tip the trend well before 2k/day (almost certain to be between 1 and 2k though). If folks get lax though then there will be a resurgence. One very realistic option is large scale testing and contact tracing. Make this epidemic endemic (ie every infected person only infects one other person). Herd immunity might well be what ends this but the attitude being taken is that letting it rip on through to that end naturally will result in preventable deaths due to the saturation of the health care system. Eg Boris might well have died h
  2. Don't worry, that other IMPOSTOR hasn't been on since 2011!
  3. Slow day mate? I agree but f**k trying to explain it on here.
  4. Can't get to her or away from her?
  5. I won't miss a f***ing thing about it! I f***ing hate having my freedom restricted.
  6. You're still with us then! I thought we might be having a THL whip round for a dottie/reddawn/ketchum memorial by now. But seriously, glad you're right again.
  7. How does it make you feel? Safe?
  8. @Bobtheferret and anyone else that has any interest. To illustrate what I was saying about a drop in the trend not necessarily being 'over the worst of it'. The 'waves' are quite clear in the UK daily death data. We've seen a two day decline recently, which was also seen six days prior. Which is inline with the propagated epidemic theory I linked above that these waves are separated by one incubation period (currently estimated to be 6 days on average). This can also be seen on Italy's daily cases data. Arguably two successive waves (days 19 & 25) building to the clear peak
  9. Hopefully eh. But it's worth noting that the nature of this type of epidemic, a propagated epidemic, comes in waves. These waves aren't always visible due to all the factors. The last peak in deaths looks to have been on the 28th, then the next started on the 31st. If all the measures we're taking are working then I'm maybe expecting one more wave to peak the curve before either a plateau or a downward trend of waves.

  11. My position would be a solitary one, working nights, my salary capped only by the capacity of my loot sack......
  12. Said it to a mate recently, some folks are gonna come out of this flush and some f****d. At the moment I'm doing fine (other than realising how much I hate my job ) if I don't get laid off and the pound doesn't hit parity with monopoly money then alls good. But I can't for the life of me believe that millions of people can be at home wanking off on 80% salary and it not have consequences that all of us will be expected to shoulder. It's a difficult one to predict really, fundamentally our industry remains, it's just sort of on a fag break.... If I get binned though I'll be picking fr
  13. It's the end times... Famine!
  14. Yet they're going now..... it's effort mate. "Too dear" is an excuse for idleness, removes the responsibility.
  15. Clarity to the consumer of welfare standards is lacking imo. Truth is most consumers don't want to spend an hour dredging through the internet to figure out if the stamp on their bacon fits with their conscience, so they just hope it does. A lot would happily, or begrudgingly, pay for the decent stuff if it was crystal clear in the shops. Not so much a money issue as it is an effort issue, at the consumer end that is.
  16. Freedom comes at the expense of rights. A freedom is a protection from government, a right is the promise of a provision from government. I don't completely agree with Wilf regarding freedoms. I think freedoms have to be limited, I don't think a society that values justice and equality can cope with such responsibility. For the examples you gave. I value freedom, more than most would consider reasonable. But ideology and reality clash here. The limits on any freedom have to be judged based on the foundations and intentions of that freedom. Discourse is essential to democracy, it's th

  18. Yep, the old octadecatrienoic acid is the sneaky bit they include to control your mind from NWO HQ. Bill Gates coded it himself!
  19. I trust the consensus of the scientific community when I can't be arsed to do all the leg work myself. Banks, farming, politicians etc really don't factor into this for me.
  20. It's cool to be a rebel, it's not so cool to read a book and tow the line after an objective evaluation (or trust the folks that have). I'm waiting for my first "sheeple' of the thread....
  21. Especially the one's who don't respond to vaccination and so can't be immunised. Herd immunity IS their immunisation. Vaccination isn't just an individual protection, it's protection for the whole of society. I really see this topic in the same bag as flat earth.
  22. I don't usually go in for name calling but that's basically how I feel about it. I'm not going to try to change your mind, I know it's futile and frankly I don't care to.
  23. Yes, just so I don't run the risk of getting lumped in with the retard anti-vaxxers. Don't much give a f**k otherwise.
