I can see that social media is strange world for those raised in one without it, so I get that. But that's not really what I'm interested in here, social media has simply exposed all these folks to the rest of the world. Good and bad. A dutch study which tested for antibodies in donated blood estimates that 3% of the Dutch population have been infected. With a death toll so far of 3k and a population of 17M, that's a true fatality rate of 0.6%. Probably less that 1% if you consider the active cases have not yet concluded.
