  1. Yes Only 3 hr delay but I’ve been here since f***ing 4:20.
  2. They’re digital twins. They’re not real, just virtual representations of what was happening. Think about it, to have a images of the craft landing would require the a second craft armed with a camera to have already landed. Sort of pointless! But in line with the modern world ‘take a selfie of everything’ mentality.
  3. Who’s the mugs? I mean, aid is just leverage, intended to benefit us and our interests, as defined by the political class. But still, the Indians would put metal on the moon with or without it. f**k them personally, the Raj really put a chip on their shoulder regarding the UK.
  4. That came across very shity when it wasn’t meant to be. I mean your view is the moral one. You’ve earnt it through a lifetime of broadening your views and experiences. I just mean to say that really, when it comes to it, no one really gives a toss for these people. It’s just a convenient stick to beat the Indian government with.
  5. Let’s be honest, very few people give a shit. Many in the west will play that card over this event on our smart devices that were partly made with a supply chain dependent on slave labour in another shit hole. I know you, having visited these places, will perhaps take a different and more educated/empathetic view. But that is the facts of it as far as I can see. India are putting resources into a field that will give them a competitive advantage in what is becoming a significant future market sector and war fighting domain.
  6. Space tech will add more to their gdp than a well fed population low skilled labour force. Not a popular view.
  7. I can’t say I’ve looked heavily into it but I find it funny that folks still think governments are falsifying moon landings. Honestly what’s to be gained? Hardly anyone gives a shit. A moon colony is a big deal, sticking a drone on it will be chip paper in a week.
  8. Incidentally I’m after one of these in 12g if anyone knows for one?
  9. No, the year has moved on and I’m not using it as much. Until spring ‘24 when I expect I’ll have the same problem.
  10. Who remembers the lad on here who setup shop on a bit of local scrub land. Had a veg plot and an air rifle for meat. Eventually got evicted after the owner finally turned up with the police but not without a fight. Hard to figure out whether to admire his attitude or section him!
  11. I renewed mine about a month ago the regular way with warnings of ten week lead times. Had it in about ten days!
  12. It’s probably going to be the future of cheap animal protein. Until the science gets the quality up to that of decent real meat.
  13. We’re in perissa. The hotel is lovely, food is decent and priced sensibly. The beaches are overrated. Walked up the mountain this morning to see the ruins of ancient Thera. Mega! I need to see more stuff like this.
  14. Exactly mate. Just sat in a restaurant in Oia waiting for the sunset now. Early one tomorrow to climb the mountain.
  15. Im in Santorini and yeah, it’s f***ing hot. Too hot to really do owt tbh.
  16. Having only read the article, I’d actually support them. We’re blindly walking into a AI dystopia.
  17. If you’re lucky a job might come up somewhere a bit nicer… Like Bakhmut or Mogadishu!
  18. It’s like 2012 all over again!
  19. Turns out they have cannibalised retired RAF Tornados to launch the missiles from Su-24s. Retired Tornado parts used to launch Ukrainian Storm Shadows UKDEFENCEJOURNAL.ORG.UK The weapons pylon adapter for the Ukrainian Su-24 aircraft that are launching Storm Shadow missiles... Also turns out that this subsonic missile is pretty effective at beating Russian ADs. Talking about air defence systems, Poland has just gone in big with a near £2B deal to buy 22 UK missile systems which I would expect to perform better than this Russian e
  20. Shooting a dog is shit, mine, families or mates. I hate it. But I haven’t yet been able to bring myself to do it any other way. Some lads are ruthless and think nothing of it. But I think the general uninitiated opinion that everyone who chooses that method is of the same mindset is way off. It’s about duty, not money. And I’ll not judge another for choosing a vet. The consequences of emotions clouding your ability to deliver that last act are not worth the risk. Again, it’s about duty to that animals welfare.
  21. Speculation but I would say Putin either has family members that he’s threatened to cut pieces off or he made it clear that a step further would result in obliteration.
  22. Yeah, humidity was noticeably up this morning. It was close as f**k and we were all gasping by 1.
  23. f**k me, just realised what you meant. Thought you were on about some f***ing tree I’d never heard of! No cheese, just bacon sausage and hobnonbs!
