    I’m sure I remember reading that he got into the dogos basically to protect his jagds in coyote country. In fairness I think a lot of his dogs are gone but yeah he’s done a lot of different dog work.

    He seems legit, at least as far as I can tell. He does a lot with mastiffs and bandogs etc. He’s worked dogos a bit too, terriers and stags. Had a jagd/whippet which he raves about that I love the look of. Doesn’t post any blood and guts stuff which I respect a lot tbh.

    I'm not knocking the contractors, plenty of lads doing it for the right reasons but I've heard enough stories and seen the absolute palaver you go through for it to know I want f**k all to do with it unless it's doing a mate/landowner a favour.

    It's a load of bollocks, f**k that. I was offered as it starts here this year and I said I'd only do it if my mate really wanted me to, having experienced it first hand in the south. He thought he was maybe doing me a favour and wasn't bothered so nah. What a load of agro for a few quid a badger. I'm sure 90% of the folks that want in on it only do for the bragging rights on their syndicate or pub/gunshop or whatever. All that said, the early science suggests it's working very well. It's madness they have the protection that they do.

    I was finally able to get out stalking. I love this time of year, stalking at first and last light with time in between spent on the beach... Anyway, I had a bit of luck and the freezer is no longer ‘critical’. I saw dozens of does. The bucks just weren’t active, every one I shot was in cover, none in the open like the does. Im sure you’ve all stalked a deer before so I’ll just post a few pics of one of my favourite times of year.

    So? They saved our entire expeditionary ground forces from certain destruction. It's got nothing to do with winning or loosing. Put simply, the German's had us in check and we evaded checkmate in a legendary operation that has gone down in history.

    LOL, yes it was a legendary success. They saved the entirety of the British Expeditionary Force from almost certain annihilation.

    I could maybe guess his name after that.... I don't want to go off on a tangent, but I will anyway, ha. IMO the Falklands was every bit as impressive as Dunkirk or other similarly legendary events in our nations history and yet we seem to have let it 'go'. There are so many 'what ifs' about that conflict that could've changed the outcome but here's a pertinent one, what if we didn't have the Paras because they all decided that the country wasn't worth their lives anymore.... The armed forces have enough to contend with just fighting the treasury, never mind a bunch of hateful c**ts

    Have you seen Body of Lies too? It's another DiCaprio film, kinda similar in that it doesn't shy away from the gritty moral grey area of the subject. I watched it in the airport on a poxy tablet and thought it was great, I should really watch it again properly.
