  1. Few months ago 650 would've been the going rate mate.
  2. How much do you think Money hasn't been mentioned but I'd at least try to give him a couple hundred as a gesture of thanks.

  4. 10’000BC Somewhat fantasy depiction of the Mesolithic but cool anyway. Ha Can tell it was directed by Roland Emmerich.
  5. Spaniels are 2-3k a pup! I'm mulling over having one of my mates pups now It's exactly what I want but just not sure time is right..... Sods law the prices will stick for when I do want one and I'll have shit out on mates who are breeding!
  6. I've never heard a bad word about Swazi. Only thing I'm a touch sceptical about is they don't use legit Gore-Tex anymore. Find out when it fucks down with rain soon.... Stoney Creek seem to have taken a good chunk of their market mind. Stuff's just too baggy on me. I had my eye on one of these. https://www.stoneycreek.co.nz/shop/layering-system/rainwear-layer/tundra-jacket.html?layer=1&limit=100
  7. Nat Geo have a Docu-film about a four month expedition to the source of the Okavango. Pretty cool film. On a similar note CV-19 pandemic has given Africa's wildlife a very hard time. All the funding has dried up from wildlife tourism. It's pretty f***ing serious for them right now. Hopefully things pick up quickly before the wildlife becomes worthless to them.

  9. Bought a kuiu, managed to sell it on as too big. Tried stoney creek but also too big. Giving Swazi a shot now. I like everything about it, now to see what it’s capable of.
  10. Fair comments. In the case of this cartridges development one of the requirements was superior penetration for body armour as future warfare is expected to be peer on peer conflicts rather than the counter insurgency of the last few decades. Not that I want to alarm anyone, LOL.
  11. Aye, we'll see. It's in the calibre bracket that'd be useful for me.
  12. Yeah, right'o. Maybe it is going to be the best thing ever and we all adopt it. If the yanks don't pull the pin on the comp then I'm sure it'll win simply because the other two offerings look gash and then it'll become the new standard infantry cartridge and it'll take off. If they don't then I don't reckon it'll be setting the world on fire, despite the ballistic claims. Maybe I'm wrong.
  13. To be fair though, if it finds widespread acceptance in Western militaries then it'll likely takeoff in the sporting sector. All the other major military cartridges have done. Does it offer any significant advantages (to sportsmen) over the current 270 or 7mm-08 . But if it becomes a NATO standard then firearms manufacturers will produce everything in it and it'll just become widely available.
  14. It's a contender for the US Armies new rifle round right? Basically the new 556..... which was the new 762...... which errrrr was the new 30.06...... And out of all those, which would I opt for The aught six I reckon!
  15. I don't think it's just a copy and paste thing. I've typed out long posts before only to have that b*****d error pop up. I've then resorted to doing a screen shot of the text and posting as a picture.
  16. Ha, I don’t feel like I do enough for a book. But thank you.
  17. They're something special aren't they... It's a horse fly mate. I was just stood quietly and motionless in the shade of the wood and the doe wandered all the way from about 200 yards or more right up to me. I often break up the day f***ing about like that. Anyway, the shade was buzzing with the b*****d things! Also, I didn't think the head on that first buck was anything special. I kept it because I felt it was up to my standard for keeping but now I've clean it up it's about the biggest head I've ever shot! Weighed in at 583gms morning after cleaning! I'm just waiting on some more p
  18. If the dealer is known for clocking then they can only wind it back as far as the last MOT. Just check the MOT history and if it's not obvious then I don;t think I'd be worried. What would worry me is a small business owner who's been doing 40-50k a year and knocking 20 off to sell it after 3-5 years. But then it goes back to what kanny said, does the car look like it's had a harder life than the clock says...
  19. They wouldn’t be about 19 weeks old would they? Old mate of mine has one that age. Rare old breed in the uk. Looks smart as mind you.
  20. Mods can work loose from expansion after a few shots. It was maybe tight for the 100 group but just wanted nipping up, by the time you shot the 200 that slack maybe worked a bit more from general movement to becoming properly loose?
  21. I think they’re f***ing awesome, I really do. Especially the raised ones.
  22. Honestly not sure but if not I reckon they be the same litter.
