I'd just get something farm bred or from stables or whatever. I'd want it as far away from earthdogs as I could get tbh. I don't think breeds as such really come into it for what you want.

I knew someone would have to point out an exception to the trend. LOL You do have a social media presence, you're on this forum. But my point was that in today's world it's getting to a point where not having one is holding people back. It's literally only just started in the last 5-10 yrs I'd say.

There will likely be groups who shun the technology and possibly even survive long term but you only have to look at how modern technology is a necessity for success in society. For the most part if you were to shun the mobile phone, laptop and digital banking from your life you would be at an extreme disadvantage. Worse still is how social media has now gone the same way. I think the intricacies of the US system of law enforcement is interesting and I think it's what leads to Sheriffs being able to talk like that. He'll be an elected official right, elected by his constituents totally separate from the agendas of politicians, state and federal? If the people of his county/jurisdiction elected him to support their 2A rights then he can do exactly that and no politician or higher up can stop him. If that was a Chief in the UK, they'd be packing their desk within the day.
