i start at 10 mesh on the ring, and add just one mesh on the end of each row very simple. then take off one mesh each row on the way down

i do pretty much the same robbie, but i also use those packet cassarole type mixes, colemans, swarts or asda do there own. adds loads of flavour

its not cos the moon is full the dogs are hunting up . they should have istant recall no mater what the moon is doing. , put some time in on the training side of things, nowt worse than a deaf dog. sort the recall out

the most important part about nets, is not the size, or type of material, its HOW ITS SET i make mine 16 wide by 22 but use a 2 1/4 mesh. i have one or 2 old nets 20 years pluss old , that are 16 mesh LONG about 2 and a half feet . they still catch so long as its set right.

yep , watched it this morning, good film. that old mongral socks runs did ok good catch just befor the net and jumps it most dogs would have had that net down , mine included also liked the lamping bit, its not often you find lamping films that are as well filmed as the lurcher mania lamping films. ok this was only 5 mins , but a good clip none the less the dog does very well under the hedges as well, and very very soft mouthed. had one just the same a few year ago. good film TOMO
