    the best type of spade, is the one thats in someone else's hands i have quite a selction built up over the years, including trenching grafts, roundmouth terrier digging shovels , the smaller army type, but i like the bulldog rabbiting one best

    just looked in the adds and theres an big picture add for nine 6 month old pups for sale . sire bull mastiff/rottweiller, dam greyound PRICE £850 now ive nowt against trying new crosses, who knows they turn out well, in fact the pics of the pups look quite nice. but feck me £850

    good on ya kev, but that ferret has proberbly been out for weeks, and belive you me they can travel for miles, it could have been lost out ferreting a few month back on neighbouring farms. as for treatment just cleaning the abbsess evry day is not likly to work , i have tried befor and it dont work. get it in a seperate ferret hutch, and treat it with some antibiotics amoxocilin is good. crush a tablet up in to powder and desolve it in its drinking bottle, so evrytime it has a sip it gets some. also sprinkle some on some food evryday, tined cat food is good for this as its moi

    after my earlier post i cant belive im posting again, but why are some of you so thik. you all accept that evry domestic species of animal us humas have , from dogs to chickens , cows to rabbits, pigs to chinchilas, ect ect ect. have totaly difrent types and difrent skelatal strucktures and differing muscle strucktures and yet you cant accept there are difrent types of ferret, that with a bit of thought will breed true to type, look no farther than the angora, or any of the colour types that will produce the same types,

    Your talking about the bull run in the northern spanish town of pamplona, its a week long festival the bulls are turned out early in the morning, evry one wears white, and the idea is to run along side the bulls and pat there backs with your hand. they also have a kids bull run with adults dressed as bulls, its a bigtourist atraction now, and its impossible to book a hotel when its on. there are suprisingly few deaths allthough some one was killed last year, loads of injurys though

    How was she as a pup and young bitch Tomo? Was she easy to train, or did she drive you nuts till she matured? Frank. SHE was easier to train than the kelpie cross very liad back , she seemed to just take in any command, i tought her to sit in 5 mins flat

    i was wrighting my above post whilst rebel posted, but his post highlights what i have said i have a line bred coursing dog, with a good chunk of saluki in it rebel, she has got in to the top 30's lamping on small paddocks , took hare when it was legal (8 year old) will sit on hand signal, jump retrive like a lab, evrything you would expect from most lurchers,

    i have one with both saluki and collie in a pup mind. but to be honest its this exact reason why theres so many arguments on here, most lurcher lads are so set in there ways, they read somthing , or see one or two dogs of a certain type that dont perform, and they think there all like this. NAROWMINDED is a word that comes to mind. look at the thread about the malamute cross, lads are arguing and saying they cant do this or that, but have never seen one work LURCHERMEN ARE NOT OPEN MINDED ENOUGH .

    i read somewhere there a cross between , greyhound, bull , and pointer, of course there line bred now, and have proberbly had other bits added from time to time
