Your wrong there, a lot of lamping dogs dont pull up at fences, hedges, walls depending on what there chasing they go over the top depends how there trained. Mine are also expected to jump out the motor and go over fences, walls when the slipped from the roadside. of course joe , big game agreed, but i was refering to rabbits.

oh yes , i remember what your reffering to, and your correct. i had forgot that belive it or not..... but she got stuck in an electric fence for 20 seconds or so, and it did wreck her head for a long time, on rabbits. this was 3 year ago now. not long after the incedent, i went to OZ for the winter , when i came back she started working again.. she does NOT pull up though at fences, in the day, but of course lamping is difrent like most lamping dogs will pull up at a hedge or fence.

what do u mean tara was picking her runs?????????????????????? Tara has a habbit of choosing her runs somtimes, this is usualy as she gets tired towards the end of night. or when rabbits are a distance off , running down hill or close to a hedge. its anoying but i live with it, you can put it down to intelagence as she's 1/4 kelpie. checked her over yesterday to find she has swelling where her nail inserts into the toe , on two toes on both rear feet. nothing to serriouse but im now shure it was the reason .
