  7. ok, i have to say sommat, FORGET THE LAMPING COMP , there will never be a big bag in the comp and theres a very good reason, "COMPATITION", even on rabbit infested land and a gale force wind, lads are going to take it slower its human nature to want to win i judged a few heats last year , and was also running in it. i think me and marks heat had the largest bag 44 over 4 hours. on the same ground only a few weeks earlier we had 70 odd in the same time. forget the lamp comp when compairing big bags . 2 keen lads with fit dogs, that know there job, and two FIT l

  9. had a good day enjoyed it, didn't like th entrance fee £17 kids over 5 £4 or £5 good job my 7 year old is 4 did you lot go to a difrent show there were loads of gun shop type places, and loads of pikys trying to be tievs why the feck do people take dogs to shows, if there not involved in some way.

  11. i think evry thing is cosha, had a pm of a fella who knows me from the shows. also my mrs never forgets a face and she recocnised him from the shows. that being said , just turning up on spec to look at a mans dogs is a no no in my book, and only brings on suspicion no matter how well intentioned he was. bit of a fecker though , that they new my adress, . cheers TOMO

  13. just had a total stranger turn up for a pup, (they have all gone) dressed all in green scruffy 6 foot 2 bald head 45 + year old driving a red peugot 305. sounded like a local accent maybee mansfield i asked how he new where i lived , he said Tom from yorkshire told him. i dont know a Tom from yorkshire. he said he had seen them on hear, wich is probly true as i did advertise them here. any of you chaps out there with info, who this fella might be, or Tom if your on here cheers TOMO
  14. funny fecker nice patern , and a good score for poor conditions, just hope we get some wind this coming week.
  15. had a look out again tonight, very black night but no wind, in fact it was a bit dewy on the bottom fields. not ideal conditions but we cracked on. we drove round the first farm , and started with Tara as ginny had never done this driving thing befor. after Tara had 7 or 8 we swaped over and Ginny had her go, she did well concidering she had never done it befor and started adding to the bag. we carried on like this till we had finished the farm. when we finished we drove up a dirt track on to the tops , and did some walking with the dogs taking tuns and adding to the bag. we ended

  17. must have done these welly threads a dozen times now use the search button but here you are, in a nuttshell , muck boots are ok , but there better for the same price. these mucks lasted me 6 month, then they had slick soles ok im 18 stone , but ive met you SS and HBG and niether of you are lightweights , so do yaselvs a favour and get the "LA COSSTE" they have a sole more like a walking boot, are rubber to the top, are neoprean lined , and just a hole lot better. have a look on uk covers ste, they were about £55, i got mine last year at the midland for £50. heres a p

  19. I got one here that does john TARA , lamping rabbits she's silent. its when shes flushing hares , or when bushing rabbits, in the day. as you say some lads could not accept a dog doing it. its a little anoying but i accepet it .
