I always liked the idea of owning a campsite... I rember camping at malam in the dales years ago...just a field...with a toilet block... I counted over 50 tents that day....set my mind thinking....of course like anything I'm sure there's more to it....but back then 30 year ago...I thought f**k me this is a simple easy earner

Got to be better in Spain the hares....as they still run them....its been banned in France for a very long time... Of course slightly different species in Spain...although I'm sure it's just a sub species...Iberian hare as opposed to the European hare we have here and in France

Sad news this...Been out with him a good few times when he used to come up the dales with me and vin... And of course growing up ..used to read all his stuff in the shooting news ...he walked the walk did Phil.....Vin even named one of the fields on our permission Phils field...reason being we would get on the tops...spread out a bit bolting to our own dogs...but as Phil was a guest we would give him the best spot...and the name stuck between us ... I think also Phil might have been the one that originally got Moochers hunting site going... RIP peace Phil....Chalkwarren...

Same mate...me grandad fought in Burma...he was in tanks...I've mentioned on here before....he told me he was 12 stone when he joined up....when he eventually got out of the jungle and on a boat home...the medicle examination had him at 7 stone... The problem he told me is as they advanced...supply drops were few and far between and mostly the locals got to them first....and when they advanced they couldn't eat anything in the local villages as the Japs poisoned everything includeding water.. He also told me about Japs running in to the camps and blowing themselves up kamikaze style

My Mrs is in to the wild swimming...not for me I hate the cold water.... After exercise your best of doing hot water or steam room...especially weightlifting...you want your veins and arturys opening up...vasodialation...cold water and ice closes them down a bit....you want good blood flow to your muscles... But on none training days there are loads of health benefits from cold water and ice
