they were sat very tight mate....i was lamping my old mate shooting....he got nelt down about 20 yard away ....one flew directly at me so i hit it with the cibie oscar lamp ..remember them quite heavy with thick glass...so technically 12 with the gun...one hit by me ...

my old poaching mate did a bit....but as mac said there were loads back then....im sure the mesh is about the same size as a purse net....2 inch or there abouts...but i think its made as a square mesh not dimond....and the net size i can remember ...but i think around 10 yard square ... but even my mate recons the lamped them first to see where they were sat.... but as mac said lamping them was very easy....we did a fair bit of it ....and with a 410 once shot 13 with one shot...they sit tight together when its real cold

Yeh I have used a long lead with good effect many years ago on dog that was a year old with bad recall ...it worked a treat and within a few hours had its recall bang on ...just remember to use the same word as a command ..ie "come"... don't change the pitch in your voice either

had quite a few mixy rabbits this week...as said they can get it any time of year ... as for fleas they live on a host...so seasons don't really affect them

no mate not fettle bred.... max did breed her 2002...out of his own bitch no big name but out of sam the man..(greyhound)..and tor of dartmoor... the sire was Captain.. got loads of pics but on photobucket..can't get them on here now

mine was very obedient...walk at heel ...on the lamp running rabbits I could run without a slip ...and her retrieve was about the best I have owned...real gundog standard that was...had 30 plus on the lamp...3 from 3 in the dead of winter on a few occasions..and one morning daytime grassed 2 munties 1 Roe and 3 rabbits in an hour... that morning was cut short cos I couldn't carry any more and I hadon't the best part of of a mile to walk to get off the land

Kanney you been through the Ford on beanford Lane just off Oxton roundabout....there are loads of plastic engine protector things all over the place down there..and other bits of plastic trim off motors..where they have obviously hit it at speed
