there was a vid on YouTube of a pest control chap ferreting rabbits on a roundabout in Manchester which locals nicknamed rabbit roundabout....it was in very built up area ...and on this vid an anti type woman marches on causing grief... don't know if it's still on any platform it's 4..5 year ago....

i know mate....real fecking shame aint it....i used to think how lucky i was to live here...although i have always traveled to hunt like the dales ...or norfolk ...there was always plenty local ...and bot just lincs ...litraly out my back door....it was great to see 40....50 rabbits just on the field next to my little cottage ...i used it like a larder just creamed a few off it from time to time...and the fields round the village...

yeh there still be small pockets out that way.... i lamped friday and saturday night after work ...2am ish for an hour or two....just driving the lanes having a shine over gates etc ...between where i live....and where your from....by christ it was sad....a good few hares...but fecking dire for rabbits... on friday i didnt see a single rabbit.....saturday i saw half a dozen in one field....that was it

the old saying was ....."a year up and a year out" old greyhound saying....and i think theres a lot of truth in that which means in there first year they get there hight....and in the second year they get there muscle... i think smaller dogs ...like whippets are done in hight by 8 month...

i get what your saying mate....but its kind of a black and white view ....in these cases theres always a massive grey area... like you i would love the victim to say f**k your money lets go to court...but life aint like that...none of us know what her situation is....or what really has gone on....and like charts has said above maybe she was on a hiding to nothing and has been advised by her team....

why are nets illegal ...is that just Canary islands ...? im sure they use nets on mainland spain

i do like watching the YouTube films from Spain of ferreting and hunting with podencos ...and i have seen a few films from the canary islands...your ground is very hard and rocky ..looks difficult ground to hunt for the dogs and ferrets.. here in the uk most of our ferreting is in soil ... so we are lucky so we can use a ferret finder and dig a rabbit out if the ferret kills it underground ...sometimes the ferret will push several rabbits up a hole in to a dead end ...so you can then dig down and retrieve a number of rabbits.. if you look through youtube you will be able to watch ma
