    iv seen a whole lot of fox dogs in my day a lot of good an a lot of bad but to me in the last 10 yrs anyway the best cross seems to be 5/8 greyhound 3/8 bull every man or squad that i know seem to have one there are still decent lurchers of every cross about but in my opinion the 5/8 seems to be the one as long as it has the right working lines

    dont know the man but he devolped his own line of ratting dogs def not for me or my sport at all but he has done something. if they truth be told we would all like to leave a legacy in the terrier game his is not one i would like to leave but each to his own he could be a fantistist but he will def be rembered

    Well john,interesting stuff!! Do you know of a glenn dog doing the business?it would be a better cross,if you could get the wright minerals? Mustard,how would it be a betterx,the glens were never tested like the wheatens,not saying that the glen is a bad dog but no comparision to a working wheaten. They might not have the size of a wheaten but the men I know that kept them in the past tested them as hard as any wheaten as a breed in general they might not have been but the right glen is every bit as game

    to me end of second season start of third when the dog has been tested you could call it a proven terrier but your better saying nothing and let the dog do the talking you know I don't pretend to know a whole lot but I know this if you have a digging dog you don't need to tell anyone or bum and blow about it you need to dig and test it to see its ability and the only time you really appricate the wee warrior is when you don't have it anymore lol
