    to me end of second season start of third when the dog has been tested you could call it a proven terrier but your better saying nothing and let the dog do the talking

    a working terrier can only dig the quarry that you can put in front of it if we had your type of quarry here the standard would be different but we don't so we class a terrier on its ability to stay till dug

    I wouldn't agree there are working breeds of terrier but just because you have one doesn't mean it's a working terrier mores the pity

    In my opinion the ratting/bushing terrier are a sporting terrier a wheaten/staff/bull would be classed as a strong dog and a working terrier would be a digging dog

    The working ability of that line of stuff is highly successfull 9 times outa 10 if in the correct hands that stuff all works in sum form or other may it be a bayer or rock hard . IF u have realations to Troy Turbo or especialy NAN you cudnt go wrong with that blood in your pens. do you have off any nans blood in your kennels

    i never dug to the nann bitch but have dug to 3 pups of hers this year all steady at there work but one dog pup has a real touch of class about his work every time iv been lucky enough to see him dug

    I seen a half greyhound half foxhound worked for 5 seasons and he caught and killed between 30 and 50 foxes a year day and night

    both parents are 3/4 bred dam i had the litter brother to this bitch a picture of her he was didnt make the grade but thats how it goes we have a litter on the ground this season out of the sire to your pups til a bull x bitch il try and get some pics up for you

    thats true some dogs are natural workers the hardest part with this type is holding them back and not overmatching them to soon

    30 -40 seems an awful lot to me you dont want the dog starting to rely on another dog not arguein just my opinion

    not really you could try digging a few ran in before you go running holes again and hope its a blip how many times has it false marked and did you run a working terrier after it to make sure it was a false mark
