    never forget my first fox caught with my own dog i had caught a few before that but with friends dogs hard to beat doing it with your own stuff

    i have done a bit of reserch on these and i think this is excatly what we need with the amount of dirt and show stuff bein bred for nothing more than money and no other reason what harm would it do to to import one of these and breed down from it at least i would know what i have if you know where to look then there is pletny good enough stuff around. what good is adding an overly hard, big and notoriously uninteligent dog, to our already good enough dogs?! You get looked at funny if your terriers over here have a few marks....can you imagen the looks you would get walking a constantly

    we hunt a lot of bogs over the season id say 60 per cent of our hunting not so much peat bogs as rushey bogs and we account for a good few foxes with lurchers

    mate i have an 18 month old dog here aswell, i plan to enter him to fox in august/sept. mine will be done single handed so he will. my own opionion is that if they cant do it by them selves then they shouldnt be doing it... good luck with your dog 18mths he is well held back show him 1 or 2 with another dog then try him on his own all the best [bANNED TEXT] i dont have any other dogs to show him with lol... i left him that long cause i didnt think he was mature and mentally ready for it i know what you mean some breeds mature faster than others i dont know if its just me but an

    i have a 3quarter grey 1quarter irish terrier pup now 9mths and due to work comitments i nearly sold him 3 mths ago but just when it seemed all was lost work slowed down and i was able to give him the time he desered how glad am i he is now 9mths and flying ROLL ON SEPTEMBER

    i think all lurchers to some degree catch on when they get to a certin age when to chase a lost cause more so in rabbit dogs than any thing else a fox dog or a deer dog pre ban of course would be always breaking ditches after quarry so would not really stop as they get older
