  1. Nothing better than a good dig any day of the week, the feeling never changes if its the first or last dig. I would just like to ask some more hunters about what they give/put on there dogs war wounds (everyone has there own view) . Much appreciated Alex.

  4. I am into all hunting types with my own greyhound x's guns ferrets ect but i do not have a earth dog and its something i love doing like everyone else a bit of digging . . . I just wanted some more opinions on which dog breeds would be worth looking into . . . I understand everyone has there own choices , thanks . Alex
  5. Just getting my two greyhoundxwhippet pups started , currently 10 month been out plenty of times but last night was different. Marra the dog & Mesha the bitch both looked game and ready for the night ahead. Both with white & black markings the offspring to ZigZag spirit so they come from a good racing greyhound line with Perrys pusher & Larkhill Jo's name cropping up in there line. Set off to the location the dogs caught , retrieved like they are trained and should do. After a few hours they had both caught 19 between them not missed a rabbit yet so i was pleased by all means.   9. Hi am alex am 16 and I live just near wigton bud and have a bit of ferreting and lampin permission mate but currently out of action due to having my appendix taken out :/ so when i get better you fancy meeting and sorting something out ?

The feeling when you find a set it looks fresh or the dogs sets it and you have netted it up and the ferret is in , then its silent ....the bumping starts :') your heart starts pounding with adrenaline and you yourself pick a net the rabbit will bolt into (the wrong one) the rabbit bolts and you dive on it like its £1million even if its the first of the day or 60th ... first outing of the season or end of the season , i hope am not the only one that has this feeling

I live just outside wigton , well inton ferreting and lamoin with 2 greyhound whippet pups and 4 ferrets (2polecat,2albino) but everyone knows you get board of the same permission and land just wondering if anyone knows good areas for rabbits in cumbria to lamp or ferret (wit(h perrmision) thank you
