    sAME HERE MATIE, PC Blakelock..he would delay us where he could, me and my mate were the first poachers in our area to get chased by the police helicopter when it came out..luckily they didnt have the heat seeking image thingy then..phew

    Our record was 10 times in one month, had all the HORT1 forms on my kennel wall.. There was only one 24 hr garage in Ashington at one time, one night there were 9 lamping teams all filling up to go out, the feds were there in force and we all got producers, they wouldnt believe we were going sea coaling..great memories, you youngins dont know your born nowerdays

    Only met one guy from here, Bosun, and what a great guy..and a great family..their lass has the brains though, and the looks, lent him some of my record books to have a look at while I was watching the mighty reds, and not many get the chance of that..Blue nose..have a great new year matie....

    I must admit I love hunting alone..also been part of small profit hunting groups, but there is just something about being out in the dead of the night with a dog or two..

    If a dog cant do both you have a problem..lamping is often classed by some as easy, and if this is the case, what easier hunting could there be as bolting rabbits with ferrets to a dog..had an outstanding lamping bitch, call her a lamping bitch because thats all I did with her, got an invite to bolt rabbits with ferrets to the dogs, she got 30 in one day.. as its already been said, a good dog should be able to do both..slight alteration, any DECENT dog should be able to do both

    Whin might have a point..do we have the dogmen to capitalise on the raw imports, you cant just keep on importing and importing thinking that that will solve any issues or problems, work with what you have first and get some useful lines established surely..just importing one after another; animals that are considered to be good dogs is fine, but thats where it stops without people who know what to do with them

    I remember a guy breeding a litter of first crosses here, none of this litter could be worked more that 2 nights a week, couldnt get them to lift out of their kennels the morning after a night of graft

    just got a camera and have started taking it out have to admit i quite enjoy it, my photo`s are rubbish like but ha ho dont know if i will ever swop the gun for it but never say never Never been a shooter, so a camera came easy for me,
