Yeahh coal tit, did a bit ringing with the BTO a few years back and I hated getting these little feckers in the mist nets, their feet are sooooooo bigggggggg, always took ages to get them out the net, Ive seen quite a lot,at certain times of the year with more blue in the colour of their legs, maybe on this one it was more to do with the way the light was coming in on the pic..but wasnt doing to bother desaturating the colur of the legs, rest seem ok on my monitor..
  2. Arrrhhhh, isnt that nice to know.. Yes there has been some great images over the year, the heron with the fish comes to mind, some good fox images, hare, deer and some of the hunting scenes etc have all been great. Cant wait for next year to see what other pictures come on here..think there will be quite a few with everyone wanting to try their new Christmas pressys out (cameras, lenses etc) Have a great Xmas everyone

  4. Caught many different colours, a place called Powburn in Northumberland always produced many different colours for some reason when we longnetted this area in the 70`s

  6. What kind of camera have you got? If its a Nikon, you can get a 70-300mm lense, second hand on ebay for around £..this will not be the VR model, but very good glass, hey, its Nikon..I still use mine now and again and get good images

I hunted in Northumberland and the Scottish borders mainly, so hving dogs that jumped are a necesity, not jumping no hares we used to say...I always start mine 8weeks onwards, just step over hieghts at this age, six to eight inches so that the pup is already learning about obsticles at this young age, as the pup gets older, so the hieght is raised, then varied obsticles, I also always blend retrieving training into early jumping training, the dog will enjoy both and youe teaching two things at the same time, I start this off with fur dummies, balls, and progress later onto rabbit carcases (but

  13. A lot are hunted in packs of 3 or more, share the work load, a coyote is a bloody tough cookie for any dog single handed
