    No matie, took at the beginning of the breeding season, sometimes I go a year before I manage to get pics done, still have a box of memory cards that I havent even looked at yet..with not getting out over Christmas gave me time to do some of them, believe it or not,. I deleted 12,000 images off my computer in December.. The first two were a pair that nested in next doors garden

    Ive some shorteareds locally, feeding on the fields late afternoon till dusk, just a bit too far out for my camera, tried squealing myself, but never was very good at it..just thought there was a fox call that you can buy that works well

    When my grandad was a keeper he used to squeek in the bog owls and try and shoot em so that they dropped in the back of the pick-up! Only joking, but they come in a treat mate, as do barn owls. I could take you out on the fell here and squeek in barns and tawnys so that they are hovering over your head, would make a cracking photo. When?

    Nothing like watching your own dog running, Its never been the same for me watching someone elses. Ive borrowed dogs at times and the same here, Its never the same..but I would liketo belatedly add, I do like watching anyones dog running, and not only have I kept records of what mine and others dogs have caught, I know how many dogs Ive hunted, travelled with and watched over quite a long time....and its quite a few..its an opportunity to assess what you have, making comparisons to other dogs..will leave it at that, feel an article coming on..

    Cheers matie, a lot like that one, apart from the judges its went under..need a specialist judge who knows how difficult it is to even see one of these during the day never mind photograph it
