  6. Yes matie I do, for the gandkids, and for the people with learning disabilities that I support.. a mate was talking about getting somebody to take pics of his whippets whilst ferreting, like the running ones ye see on here, thats why i ask i take photo`s  is that what ye call em??? What part of the country does your mate come from matie..
  7. All sorted, got a very nice letter from birdguides this morning, after writing to the birdguides director..Dear Bill, Thanks for your email and sorry to hear of your frustration. Just to let you know that I am currently investigating exactly why the image was rejected - as you are aware, we have other images of Osprey from the site and, if taken outside of our schedule 1 breeding curfew, there should have been no problem with the image being uploaded to the site. I can assure you that there is absolutely no personal motive whatsoever, and that there has been a simple misunderstanding w

  11. Good image matie, well done.. Its not AKM Images, Inc.is it?
  12. For some Cheers, D. Well I will change what I said...Running dogs are REALLY EASY.. Agree also with the above, D300 is a great camera..
  13. Frames per second is an important feature for consistent action shots.. Running dogs are fairly easy to capture..
  14. Another old saying, your stud dog is half your kennel. Not heard that one in my book of old sayings..will take your word for it though
  15. Thats true but you would still look for the best dog you could get to mate to them, Well you would think so
  16. An old saying, a kennel is only as strong as its bitches..
  17. A black and white framed photograph of Queen Victorias false teeth
  18. In competition, the scoring is usually out of 30, first gets 30, second 29, third 28, any image worthy of a highly commended is awarded 27 points..the crop is only a suggestio to suit my taste, might not work for others..but the lower piece of sky is quite dramatic, the crop would get rid of the dull, clear sky which gives, for me, nothing to the image..Ive already cropped it to see how it worked..it was good for me..
  19. Like the way the fence leads the eye into the image, the water on the left some may see it as a distraction, but for me it adds to the strength of the lead in, both then combining, both taking the eye towards the distance, and the sky. I would crop the sky from the top of the cloud on the left, and the fences lead in then has even more impact..will give it 27 points, and highly commended
  20. I just love some rough coated deerhound or Bedlington types..but, the best dogs I owned, most were smooth coated..
