  1. Christ on a bike, Paul, you've finally got an account!!!! Let me be the first to welcome you, mate. Cheers!!
  2. Hi, mate. Ten's plenty so long as your lad can put his shots in the right place. Just keep to a sensible distance and if the lad does his bit, he'll be fine. Avoid the temptation to fit a 'high powered' spring. It'll over-spring the gun, ruin the accuracy and make it horrible to shoot for what will only be a small power gain from his Gamo. Keep with the standard spec. as and when it needs a change. Good on you for getting your lad out for a mooch, my lads love it too Cheers.
  3. I keep mine in a locked cupboard with a cable lock through the trigger guards and locked to an 'eye' bolt on the wall. Ammo hidden away where my boys can't find it
  4. Porn Hub's good. Something for everyone on there....
  5. Welcome to the forum, mate and thanks for the read, I enjoyed that
  6. Nicely done, Shay and that's a cracking looking spot you've scored there They do work well those .177 Mags, don't they!!?? I used them for many years in my 90 before I switched to .20. Cheers.
  7. Fair play to you, Craig!! As has been said above, going out with newcomers to the sport can be very interesting. An old friend of mine has recently got into airgunning and I've been teaching him pretty much from scratch and it's really made me realise how much is taken for granted when we've been doing it for so long. All the little things that take no concious though that for a newbie is all, well, new!! I hope they learned plenty from the experience, mate Cheers.
  8. Nicely done, Wurz My two boys love going for a mooch with me when we get the chance. My eldest's twelve and very good at following my instructions so isn't really a problem but his younger brother (9) is still at that age when he can't resist hitting everything with a stick It's still lovely that he enjoys it so much and I know (HOPE!!!) that he'll grow out of it soon enough. Cheers.
  9. From what you've said, Jasper and reading between the lines a bit, I'll bet whatever sight you've got on the Vulcan is rather more basic than the Mamba...? It sounds like a classic case of the gun just doesn't fit you. Fit is so important and it's something a lot of shooters overlook. If it don't feel right to you then it's not right for you, mate. If you're ok shooting on the flat, you'll most likely find the errors when shooting at an angle is because you're moveing your head closer to the scope without realiseing it. This, combined with the fussy nature of your scope will exagerate
  10. Tears??!! Jesus, Craig, it hurt. It's like when you wake up with the hangover from hell and say 'never again'.... Yeah right, 'til next time anyway!! LOL
  11. I hope you mean fps and not ft/lbs, Simon, otherwise I'd best have another look at it??!! LOL
  12. Not wanting to teach granny how to suck eggs, Jasper but have you tried to work on your technique? What scope are you using and why are you convinced it's PX error? Cheers.
  13. Simon, ya pillock!!! I didn't realise you'd actually posted what I'd said!! LOL Good luck with finding a swap, Banjoman and sorry for putting the seed of an idea into my mate's head.
  14. It has got a bit odd in here of late for one reason and another and yes, it would be good to have some more input by more of the useual suspects. Ah well, here's hopeing.....
  15. Bloody hell, that kebab was a bad idea.... I feel like I've been run through!!
  16. For the lad who has everything, get him the one thing he hasn't got. Feck all.
  17. And anyway, with every kebab you get a good shit thrown in for free!! Which is nice....
  18. Kebabs are like women, Simon, there's nothing better than a good one but a bad one can really feck you up.... Regardless of what day of the week it is!! I'll be at your's for about one, mate. Cheers.
  19. But the really big question for me is do I have pizza or kebab for dinner...?? Decisions, decisions.....
  20. Mike posted to say he'd got a good deal with them. Most of the replys said they'd not had a good service however. I've never delt with them personlly but I've always been very happy with BASC for many years. He was trying to give a heads up, IMO but maybe it wasn't too well researched..... Don't know....
  21. Don't sack it. Like I've said before (as you have reminded me....), it's only the Internet. Let's all take a big Mitsubishi chill pill and relax. I can't see the point of anyone getting upset about this. There's no need for arguement, IMHO, so can't we all just move on...? Hopeful cheers.......
  22. LOL!!!! Fair play, Craig, like I've said before, we can always rely on you to speak your mind, mate. Funny old place this Internet, ain't it...??!! :-) Cheers!
  23. Just to add, John, if you ever find yourself up this way, give us a shout...
