    Very sad I couldn't make out the text in the diaries. Did they bail out, or go down with the plane 'cos that's a heavy crash? Looks like someone's found the plane before as some of the instruments appear to be missing from the cockpit. Interesting find, Mangy

    Bloody hell, mate, that's a blast from the past!! One of those was one of my first ever airguns many moons ago. I remember it as being an OK rifle, those early Noricas were quite well screwed together unlike the tat they're making today. The trigger was a little heavy but crisp and very predictable and the gun was plenty good enough for hunting, I shot my first ever rabbit with mine I can't help you on price, there's not too many of them about and I really can't remember the last time I saw one.     Thanks, Simon HW do tend to slightly change stock designs but they don't tend to shout about it when it's on the same model, like your 77 and 80s. I've done a little web search on this and there is indeed a Mk1 and 2 but the only difference I can find is slight changes to the trigger unit. I've an idea as to why they've changed it after looking at an exploded diagram, on the Mk1s it was very easy to feck up the safety re-set mechanism unless you knew exactly what you were doing when takeing the action in and out of the stock.     It has been a bit odd for one reason and another, mate. I know a few of the regulars have been away and also a few have been avoiding the place 'cos of some of the BS, scammers and other nonsense but it will always have it's ups and downs....     Well then, Simon, between the pair of us we'd best work out how to post pics up on here. My now knackered lap top wouldn't talk to Photo Bucket but I've not tried it with this new desk top.     Hows about a swap for 48 Mayfair mags?? A few of them don't have their pages stuck together but most do to be fair, if I'm honest... They are consecutive issues however, so if you're a true collector of such things, please give me a shout Edit... I'll even throw in some used Kleenex, if that helps sweeten the deal...???

    It's about a quid a litre where I live. I run my 51 plate Astra 1.7dti on about 20-30% and it runs better with the veg oil in than without. One tip I heard was when it gets cold, mix the oil with 3% white spirit as it then brings the viscosity to the same as regular derv. I've not researched this though, it's only what I've been told.
