Is this a joke???? For months we've had to endure your long winded posts about shooting a few kits. Read your BS about going through a million (sic) differnt guns, your well googled replies to some questions which you can't answer on your own 'cos you've no feckin' clue????? All of this so as you can try to sell some shite to some of the members?? FFS, Mike ( or whoever....), you've just lost all credability from me. Good luck with the forums and your no doubted ebay shop. Shame on you......

To put it into perspective a mate of mine paid £150 for a very tidy HW90 last year with a top line Nikko scope.... £120 for a basket case 77 is heavy money, mate.
-
Mate, from what you've described, its scrap. As has been said, on top of all the faults you've listed there will be other expense. If its anything more than free then you've been robbed...... Cheers.

Hi, mate. What scope is it and what gun's it on? Also where are you? Maybe there's someone close to you who may be able to offer you hands on help. Cheers. Edit..... Sorry, you've already said its on a Lightning. Are you sure its clamped up properly? If the rets moved its either scope creep or a fecked scope..... -
Action out of stock, tap out of action, clean as above!!

Shooting springers off tall bipods - Part 1
andyfr1968 replied to Manco's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
Ah yes, that's the fella. I'd had one two many shandies last night to be able to make any sense of that. Or anything else really..... -
Beautiful and frightening in equal measure..... They look like some cracking thunder heads in the distance Russ, lovely pics, as usual
-
Have you tried the 90, Ron...? A bit weightier than a Fenman but much nicer to shoot

Shooting springers off tall bipods - Part 1
andyfr1968 replied to Manco's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
I wish I could explain myself better as to how I shoot off a stick..... It's something I've done for such a long time and it's a technique I take so much for granted, I find it very hard to expand upon... Vive la stick!!!! Le cheers......... Edit to add.... I've had to adopt a rather unorthodox shooting style due to various injuries sustained over the years but it works OK for me so I can understand how someone else may be able to make something a little different work for them.... -
Shooting springers off tall bipods - Part 1
andyfr1968 replied to Manco's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
Hmmm... I think I can see the method of what you're doing, Chris. You've a much longer than normal rest and also one which does not appear to be solid so this should allow a springer to recoil in a far more natural fashion than a conventional bi-pod would. I tend to shoot from a single stick when seated but the gun's always rested on my hand and never the stick itself as it's quite rigid, however I can see how your method may well work as that problem seems to have been mostly removed with your method of using such a long, flexible rest and also what looks like foam insulators. HMR, Simon....

I'm looking forward to hearing about how you get on with your 95 in .20, Shepp. I'm loving it with my 90 and the FTTs keep on produceing great results. I've started to favour them above the Baracudas that have been spot on through that gun but the slighty lighter FTTs give a little more forgiveness as the range goes out. Best of luck with it. Cheers.

I owned a Diana 52 some years back that gave around that power and I used it to great affect on mink that I may otherwise have baulked at with a lowered powered gun. -
That's a bugger about the Stutzen, Wurz but it's been a giggle reading about your ' bird's' and Jasper's eggs!!! ATB with your new rifle, John, I hope it does you well. Cheers.

The pellet entered just below the shoulder and lodged just under the skin on the other side, Wurz. Both heart and lungs well shot!! Cheers. -

Sunday's good Great right up, Simon but it seems wierd to me reading about things I've done!! Piddled off about missing that last bunny, I really did get the range way out. On an open-ish field in the near dark it was an easy enough mistake, I guess..... I reackoned on about 45 yards but when I paced it out, it was barely 30. Ah well, clean miss. See ya Sunday, 2 ish....?? Cheers -
Do you have any other user names, whippet-hunterdave?

what the hell could be wrong with it
andyfr1968 replied to pedro68's topic in General Airgun Discussion
Try another chrono if you can. Those little Combro things aren't always the most reliable. If your 97's had that many pellets through it, it should have settled long ago. If the shots tend to be on the low side, have you checked the breach seal? Cheers. -
Reccomend gun please?
andyfr1968 replied to Craig1888's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
if you're on a budget, go used and go for a springer. Pretty much anything German or by Air Arms will be your safest bet. Just decide what siuts your needs best then narrow your choice down. Good luck, mate. Cheers. -

Cheers, Craig. I'm utterly fed up reading stuff like this and Steve, WTF did you expect folks to reply to your post??? Still moaning about being skint whilst selling stuff on different user names??? Mark, I'm a the kind of bloke who'll tend to try to smooth an arguement but I'm inclined to agree with you and this is the very last post I'll be putting up with regard to Steve and his antics.... Cheers. -
What it's the metro sexual caliber then? .22 would suit the sausage fingered fat bloke but .177 is more for the artisan hunter. Either that or I'm talking sh.it again. I'd not thought of it as being 'metro sexual' before!! I take your point though Maybe I should start wearing those poncey pink shirts that seem so popular with that crowd...??

Oh, FFS..... Steve, it's a simple case of man up or feck off. Every time this sh*te come up it kicks off all over again. Folks aren't stupid (mostly...) so either sort yourself out or leave it be, mate. I for one am pig sick of reading crap like this, there's no need. Cheers.......
